Posting my strats in case someone needs it; PS4, DS4 controller GT7 Version: 1.13 Difficulty: Hard Car: AMG GT3 2016 (the one beauvois is using) Assist: TCS 0, Fuel map 1, ASM on, coutersteer off, Auto GB On RM tyres, pit in at the end of lap 10, full refuel. Pit in at the end of lap 20, RM tyres, refuel up to 10.2~10.3 laps You can gold this with a consistent lap of 1.58/1.59, just make sure you are in the 1st position when you do the first pit. Drive consistently as much as you can, beware of punt-happy AIs, and send it home. You can shave a lot of time at the S section before the downhill U turn (you'll notice the AI is still quite cautious at this section), try cutting the corners without getting a penalty and keep your throttle open as much as possible. Hope y'all find this usefull.

Thanks for the tips mate, I chose the Porsche, did a 2 stop. Managed to win, but barely - with ~12 second lead. My pace was shite tho, I did around 1:58s which was enough in the end. Keep up the good work! ❤

Was planning to get the z4 gt3 for the PSN trophy (scapes pic of it at Nurburgring) and haven't done this endurance race yet so looks like it's two birds one stone thanks for the vid 👍

To anyone still struggling, after trying 20 different gr3 cars finally found it. - Hyundai genesis 3 -tc0 (get used to it, makes the difference here) -ASM on -no help on countersteer -default ABS -fuel 1 -racing mediums (start with them and change them in every pit you make) -lap at end of 10th (fuel 11) and at the end of lap 20 (fuel 10) Other tips: •get used the brakes on the long downhill •before the downhill there's an S area with 3 turns, you can full speed them, still no penalty Won this by 15 seconds with best 1:56.4 and slow ones/tires consumed at 1:59/2 Average 1:57/58 Got 2 penalties too Hope it helps, enjoy If too hard still, get used to the track ok the lake track experience

Thank you, you car choise helped me, got gold for second try, N. Rubilar and and Beauvois really agressive bots, they almost push me out on last lap! BUT there is a Trick, may this be in TOP TIP: When on last lap, you can take any shortcut which help you overtake or increase lead, however if you get a penalty near stop line they can stop you only in next lap, but if it were last lap they just add time to you overall race timer, BUT if you finish this challenge first but penalty add time to you finish and you lose by the time, you still will get gold medal

Use the corvette! Shift early! Had a lot of trouble with this one. Took 4 attempts. I tried all of your strategies. After watching your video about the track itself, testing the grd 3 cars, I was pretty impressed with the corvette. I gave it a shot with the hard tire stratagey and had no trouble keeping consistent lap times and finishing 10 sec ahead. Love you videos by the way!

I finally managed to gold this. used the mazda altenza, medium tyres, 2 stops. went to the pit at the end of lap 9 and lap 20. went power level 1 all the way.

I have driven 5000km on the Vette. Best GT3 car. Two stops, Meds, 1:56-1:58. You need 65% of fuel for 10 laps, keep dosage on 1, short shift at 20-35% of the rev bar, and you golden.

Just went with Z4, 2 stops + medium + fuel map 1. Took the lead from the Renault on lap 28, won by 0.4s to the Lambo

I always drive the Porsche. Driving consistent low 1:58 / 1:57. I use the Medium Tyres and Stop 2 Times. Every 20 minutes... around 9/10 laps. The car is also quite fuel efficient

I finally did it today after week of failing i did it with wrx subaru with 2 pit strategy and was luck that the Renault and rx vision blocked that m6 for last 5 laps and i finished with 4+ leading

Had to come back and say that I FINALLY got this bitch of a mission. I used the V12 Vantage with mediums, 2 pits, one on lap 10, one on lap 20. Car is a demon in the corners, and I would wager has the fastest acceleration out of any of the cars in the pack. I am positive anyone that can post 1.56's in any other car can possibly post a faster time than that in this car, cause this is the ONLY car I have gotten a 1.56 lap in. As long as you're in first place at the first and second pit, won't have any trouble catching up to Lopez, then just have to outrun the AMG and that damn M6.

After trying all the top cars I believe the Peugeot RCZ is the best, the only problem is that it gets slidy on the last 2 laps on medium tires

I am an average driver at best, and this is by far the hardest human comedy race for me. I used the Nissan for the last race, 7, and I won that one. This one I’ve tried about 6 times and I am in 20th place by the 7/8th lap. I keep getting spun out by the AI. My best laps are around 2:04 and 2:05, and I’m just not fast enough. Only help I use is the brake and tcs. I guess I need to try it without the brake help.

Another strategy is this one that I did : With the corvet GR3 , Start on mediums , fuel map 3 , pit at around minute 27 to go , change to mediums , from last 4 minutes you see the bmw come flying from 9 seconds behind , block him 3 turns to go and win by 3tens ( 0.300s ) It’s a strategy that you should NOT do 😂

So I tried the two-stop strategy with medium tyres with a variety of Gr. 3 cars. I have constant lap times from 1:58 to 1:59, so I should be alright, but I never reach P1 before the first pit stop in lap 10. I do reach P2, and in the end I have P6 or P5. I tried restarting the race a few times, but I don't see any changes. Looks like I'm stuck. I can't constantly drive 1:57 or 1:56, that's beyond my skills.

If you take out Rubilar on the first lap it will make it a lot easier 😂😂

I used the vette. I enjoyed this race once I won. The two times I finished second really well let’s say I wasn’t happy. Haha

Another good video, Unleashed Drivers. Sub for sure! I totally got hooked on this race. Yes, I personally feel most comfortable with the Z4 and I achieve the best times with it (many times 1.57. 200-600 with RM). Many times on the second lap I am in the first position. The only problem is that after 6-7 laps the tires wear out a lot and my times increase significantly. I drive with TC 1 (I tried without TC, but this car is impossible to control without). Maybe I should change my riding style to save tire wear, I don't know anymore ???I'm playing with Controller on PS4. I accept any advice. Thanks!

Are you able to gold this challenge if you use automatic instead of manual? For some reason I really suck at driving manual as I can't focus on my line as good as I can when I drive automatic. If so, what car and strategy are best to use if you drive automatic?

I did this exactly, got all 1:57 / 1:58 / 1:59 per lap, still ended up 9th with Lopez behind me, and 45 seconds behind 1st.. it's frustrating

Finally was able to complete this challenge yesterday after about a week of trying an hour or two a day. The new update yesterday (1.13) increased sensitivity for controller, which definitely helped. Last week I was averaging 1.59 best, but after a week of trying and the new update, I was able to win it by 0.256s with 1.56 as the new norm (TCS off btw, keep it off if you can. I started the challenge using TCS 1 and slowly worked away and kept it off). This was the most difficult race/challenge for me yet, and the struggles really helped me improve as a driver I feel. Thanks for these videos too, very helpful!

For the players playing on console without manually shifting Porsche rsr medium tires fuel map 2 for the whole race I've wasted several hrs trying every car and this was the best without manually shifting

Can you please make a video on how to get gold on the 1 lap attack on Laguna Seca. The highest time I got is 1:29:030 I’m struggling to even get to the 1:28 min mark.

Mazda RX was fastest car for me. Beat it barely however with two stops. First pit at lap 9 and refuel for 10 laps and 2nd time when fuel for 11 laps. Medium tires.

Came back to say that now there is a one second penalty for cutting the corner at .58 in the video when you go over the concrete. I have tried a couple different ways and it seems they don't want you to do that at all now. I wanted to try and see if I could do this race again with some different cars, but can't use that line anymore.

How do you make the car go so fast i tried with the renault rso1 and it was nowhere near as quick as the video i watched.in the video the guy was in 1st place before the end of lap 2 when i tried i was nearly 15 secs behind after 2 laps.

I pitted at the 30 min mark & chose to change the RH tyres..& the crew didnt do anything, by the time i noticed it had been 15 seconds , so i clicked dont change, then i still had to refuel. ruined the race & came 5th. Anyone else had the pit crew just stand there/glitch?

You did 1h0m10sec, and the AI finishes 50 secs Behring you. I did 1h0m27sec and the AI finishes 5.8sec behind me! (Z4 2 stops) It took me 2 days, and I loved it! its with challenges like these that we learn and improve!

Struggling a lot with this mission, tried both one-stop and two-stop with the RCZ but couldn't get it done. Which is faster Porsche or Z4? Are they both faster than the RCZ?

Holy Sh... you are So fast. Cant even make a low 1:57 when the tyres are New. Is the difference between Controller and steering wheel so big? Or ist it because of the manual shifting? 🤔

Why fill up to full on first pitstop when you only go another 10 laps?

I just done it with the RX-Vision on RM for whole race with 2 pit stops, end of lap 10 refueled for 10 laps then end of lap 20 refueled for 10 laps. Finished with 1.5s ahead of 2nd

Strategy doesn't work after the new update. I tried all 3 difficulties. The ai catch up and rubberband cheating system got a massive upgrade likely intentionally. They also set it up so the cheat ai magically gain ten second in the pit. I'm running similar lap times getting 1:56 and losing by over a minute. Race is now impossible unless you can run 1:52 every single lap even on old tires.

how the hell are you able to use traction control and not lose any speed? If I use it, I can maybe get a 2 min lap

I have tried EVERY group 3 car I can, and my fastest laps are 1.58's. I cannot for the life of me get below that. I have no idea how you're taking some of these corners at the speeds you do, cause I can do the same line, same entry, and I end up in the grass.

Did you use a specific setup on this try?

1:55:712. I think I am 4 seconds of your pace on an average. That will put me 1 minute behind nr 1 car in the 3nd :s. I can get 5th for a while but then the laptimes are hoing down. Best I can run is 1:59. Top pf the hill 1.02 to 1.03. But I can't figure out how to take the kast sector faster. The double righthander and the last corner. Thats where i always loose the gap I had built up...

My fastest lap is 2.:00 .. like HOW are people getting 1:56's??

Why your IA are so slow ???

The AI is complete different on my ps5. 1.Its impossible to get to p3 in the first lap. Because yamanaka is driving on Coke and pulls p2 and 3 away. You have to be 7-10secs faster then him. And He is driving 1:57 in the 2nd. 2. The rubberbanding destroys everything. Yamanaka is always driving 1 sec faster. Rubilar gets grip boost in every corner. Untill hes behind you. 5 secs in 1lap isnt a problem for him. 3. AI doesnt slow down because of tyre wear. Impossible. 4. They can save fuel but racing on the Limit All the f... Time. Impossible. 5. i think theyre cheating on track and in the Box. Yamanaka pits in 3 Times.3rd time splash and dash. Also He pits lap 8, 16/17 and 26/27. So i guess ai driving on softs. Thst would explain his 1:57 in lap 2. Even when i constant drive 1:58. Ive no Chance to win this. As more Im Driving as more AI is adapting and doesnt makes same mistakes like Before. And When you 1st in the last lap. Rubilar drives 8 secs faster and push you into the Grass anyway. Also AI dont get any penaltys. For this race is rigged from. Start to finish. Tried 30 times. 2tines i almost won but tyres out of the sudden down, rubberbanding Rubilar makes 8 to 10 secs on weak tyres. Seeing yamanaka pitting 3 Times in the pits and win Was the last straw. Ps: if its Not Rubilar or yamanaka then fraga out of the sudden drives same times and will push you off.

( just in case you don’t see my reply of my previous comment , I know sometimes RU-vid doesn’t send the notifications properly ) the corvet is my favourite gr3 to drive coz isn’t easy lower gears , it was my manufacture of choice on gt sport I ended up 68th overall in the Whole Americas , I don’t use any assists so it was more of a fun race 😂 Ps: the gear change spot is at 6.000rpm , I think you are revving it too much hence wasting fuel and also Loosing power. On car settings we can see the curve of the power of the car and at the garage you will see on the top left the pick power at x.xxxrpm , every car is different . A lot of people loose pace time just because of revving all the way on cars that shouldn’t . You COULD make a video about this , it will educate a lot of drivers on this matter

Tri to drive this with a Controller and win. Then you are a good driver. the controller reduces the steering angle.

Im not a good player at all. Many tries in hard with RCZ and this strategy = 1.59-2.00 = lose One try in easy with Mazda and this strategy = 1.56-1.57 = easy win Have fun !!

Tried so many times have sore hands. Mustang for me by about 6 seconds. Average driver.

The issue I have with this stupid race, I've tred with 6 different cars doing a 1 pit strategy. The AI are much faster and more powerful. I cant use steering wheel or manual gears so I'm stuck on this one. Sometimes the AI don't pit at all..and I can't get anymore less than 2 minutes. Have gran turismo seriously made this race jusy for people.who can drive Manual? Because I am at a loss. I've really had enough of this race. And I am finding it impossible just to get bronze on this track.

I have tried for weeks with all sorts of gr3 cars. In the end I found the Porsche to be the best. 2 pit stops at the end of laps 10 and 20 with around 10.2laps of refuel on each stop. I drove most laps between 1:57-1:58 and a few around 1:56-1:57. Try to cut across most cars at the start of the race. I managed to get to P1 in the 3rd lap. Fell to 2nd place in the 8th lap but after the first pit stop I gained a lot as Rublar filled tank to full. This is where you gain advantage by doing only 10.2 laps fuel. The slower cars that get ahead can be caught up fairly easily if you drive around the 1:58.

This game is a joke, no proper career mode and all we have are these endurance missions which are impossible to complete for 97% of players.
