You should check out her performance of "Rechenka", it's *amazing!* It's in Russian, so this might help ... it's from an old traditional folk song about an orphaned girl who is supposed to marry someone she doesn't love, so she goes down to the river (the border between the living and the dead) to talk to her mother and get her advice. She does a weird, rough whispery voice near the beginning - that's her mother, asking why she isn't happy. *Enjoy!*
