Already completed the new DLC but thanks for putting up the guide for others to enjoy Billz! I've always had a blast with this game and hope they continue to add new levels and achievements! :)
You can do the one achievement with out useing ice cubes or climbing up the back wall. You can take off the snow mans head and roll it in the shade it gets bigger if it goas into the sun it melts and then you put it onto the one side while it's in the shade then you can get up that way I believe
@@doctort2853 I climbed on the snowball, then climbed onto the bar and crossed over. The snowball slipped off the scale a few times while trying but I got there without too much trouble. I've seen some comments that claim you can touch and even climb on the cubes as long as they don't go on the scales but I'd do that only as a last resort.
@@dlxmarks nice trick! Thanks! I eventually swing climbed the back wall for the achievement. Then I realized I can get to the top of the mountain and skip the whole thing (there would be a hut and once you enter there would be a voice saying get off of my property). Maybe going this route can get the achievement too?
@@doctort2853 I just now watched a guide video in which the player climbed on an ice cube to reach the raised platform and it showed the achievement popping so now we know for sure.
Awesome guide, thank you. For me, the best way to do the climbing trick is to swing from side to side, when you have enough momentum and are at the high point, let go with one hand and grab with the other. For some reason, I am not able to reach higher while I am still grabbing the wall. Also I was able to bypass the ice cube - lift section, I just climbed the wall in the direction the lift was going.
7:34 you shouldn't need to climb, first grab the cube and put on the right box, climb to the top of the left hut using the raised left box, grab the wood piece and use it as a weight, drag it down to the lower level on the other box to hold the box you dragged up in place
3:33 the other way to do it is to put a really heavy snowball on a scale and then, You put yourself on the scale, that will make you reach the platforms
Heads up if you're going for the 'Tricky' trophy/achievement in 'Ice'. Me and someone tried for 2 hours trying to get it but we ended up starting solo sessions each and I actually managed to get it first try that way. Tip: do it solo for it to work!
I can confirm dropping a snowboard down the hill worked for me, after it didn't work with them attached to my feet. Can't get the 'No Ice Ice Baby' achievement though.
just managed to get it on a 5th attempt. I had a run that I wasn't going to make so i restarted the checkpoint, then I used two red boards and went down, i made sure NOT to press A at the end to jump and got the achievement almost immediately.

I think you can skip bringing the ice cube down to the button under all the umbrellas and just climb up the short wall beside the button and then proceed from there with the two boxes. I did it that way anyway after I screwed up and dropped the 2nd box in the trench and the checkpoint is all the way back before the ice cube.

This guide relies way too much on swing climbing. At best it's a hinky mechanic that's hard to pull off and at worst, I suspect No Brakes might have patched it later since most guide videos came out in 2019. In any event I can't make it work in the 2022 version of the game. The free hand either grabs on below or at the same level as the holding hand. Many times I've seen the free hand above the holding hand's level but then it won't latch on until it drops back down. Anyway from "Mansion" through "Ice" I've never seen a situation where there isn't another reasonable way so it really shouldn't be part of game guides.
Sorry unfortunately I couldn’t find alternative ways at the time. The swing trick still works though and most likely never will be patched. In the comments there’s some alternative path suggestions
