Can you imagine how good our team would be with this offense and the 2013 season's defense? I honestly think we would be better than Georgia. Our defense that year was 1st in basically every stat for most of the year
The one consistent thing I noticed… nobody ever gets a chance to square up on him. He’s always changing his angles. When he gets tackled it’s always off to the side or from behind.
@@badhatcreations9875 the numbers plus the fact that he's the only player with stand out Heisman moments this year. Has him in the front running in my opinion but being a Spartan I'm definitely going to be a little bias😂.
Thank goodness for for the thrills K9. What a great season Abeit just one year in Sparta. I be watching you on the ten best plays this coming season. Wishing you a happy healthy productive career young man with the emphasis on Man for sure God bless.
His ability to change direction in a heart beat and the way he can make people miss. The way he can juke people and brake tackles and always has the 2 effort. Also is a decent pass Cather. Also the way he has athletichisim for after the catch.I want him to Miami he kinda fits tua
@@caseyryan-hannum2545 he’s been caught from behind while running full speed on a few occasions. It happens in this video, 1:44 for example. Or 2:45, he has the angle and speed but still gets caught by the defender. Definitely not the only times it’s happened. His 40 time is somewhere between 4.4-4.55 according to 2022 NFL Draft scouting report. Don’t get me wrong...Walker is a bad dude and excellent back. He’s just not a speedster. He’s not even the fastest player on the team.
@@fjeezy1305 Yeah no, he doesn't get caught from behind in those examples or really ever. He's not the fastest back around, but both of those examples there was defenders still ahead of him on the field. If all he sees in front of him is grass, he is scoring.
If the Giants let Barkley go (of course I'll make an qualified offer so I'll get a first round pick from whatever team signs him), I wouldn't mind replacing him with K.W.. This dude is a beast.
i think anyone giving first rd pick for saquon has faded a bit, he got no excuse this year cuz giants improved that line, him and Rashard penny both on those prove it deals
@jose he was....but as a disgruntled fantasy owner i think Barkley was running half ass to end season, the line was awefull but him giving minimal effort not a good sign
After last seasons Heisman farce I vote that we rename the award. How about the "Hypesman Trophy." Or maybe the "Heissham Trophy." Or best of all the "Heistman Trophy." Never before in the history of awards was one man so systematically pissed on. 😫 Kenneth Walker so badly outran his competition he looked like Secretariat in the Belmont Stakes. Thirty lengths ahead. Not only the best player. A man with the rare ability to elevate an entire team around him. Realize that Walker was running behind a mediocre offensive line at Michigan State last season. Play after play in this highlight film are RUNS ONLY HE COULD MAKE!!! Other elite backs would have been dusting the field with their back sides. Much as I despise the Wolverines, imagine Kenneth Walker running behind the Michigan offensive line? Thirty touchdowns and 2,500 yards sounds about right. Only Barry Sanders incomparable Heisman season would outshine it. It's fair to mention Walker in the same sentence with the great Sanders. While until now there has been only one Barry Sanders, Walker is only a half rung down. Walker is Saquon Barkley with better instincts and cutting ability. With blinding speed and the ability to bleed every drop out of a play. NO PLAYER EVER IMPACTED HIS TEAM IN SUCH A WAY. Look at Michigan State a year after his departure. From 11-2 to a 3-4 toboggan tumble. The Wolverines are a 23 point favorite in today's game. With Kenneth Walker they would walk off winners. One play action fake to KW and the entire Wolverine defense would swarm to him. Like Bees to a six foot honey jar. Opening up the entire field for everyone else. Barring injury ten years from now fans everywhere will be looking back at one of the greatest careers ever. Perhaps the greatest. Is he really that good? Not really. HE IS BETTER THAN THAT!!
I will admit that I don't really follow college football and had no idea who Kenneth was before my Seahawks drafted him. I came here to find out more about him and was absolutely blown away. I've been back here at least 5 times to rewatch this because dudes got me so excited to watch him run. Almost every one of these highlights was a busted play and him making something out of nothing.
@@Gibbs-Bijan-moon yeah those were the only teams that came to mind at the time I made the comment. McCaffrey gets hurt too much and doesn't Kamara share carries?
They are both very similar with their vision, patience, decisiveness, ability to make people miss in tight spaces, and turning blown up plays into first down and tds. K9 is a lot faster in the open field. He is more explosive. He might have better vision. IDC what the 40 times say. Kenneth Walker is really fast in pads on the field.
ken walker is 5'9 211 and with a 34" vert and ran 4.38 at the combine, barry was 5'8 200lbs with a sub-4.35 40 yard dash and a projected 44 inch vert. barry had faster acceleration. also barry had better balance and could stop on a dime, get to full speed before a defender knew what happened. that being said, ken walker is the closest thing ive seen to barry sanders since barry sanders... he's got very similar change of direction and acceleration. good patience and vision. loves to get to open space. he's got more physicality to his game than barry did, breaks lots of arm tackles and will put his head down and drive through people.
@@JohnCunningham-sy5ug I don't remember bro. I think this was a misplaced reply to someone comparing him to shady or Lev Bell. My pro comp to KW is DeAngelo Williams with some Barry Sanders elusiveness. Honestly though KW has his own style.
The cbssportsline draft guru said he is “not a HR threat”. As he busts off a 75 yard TD I am thinking he has no clue what he is talking about. I see some Kamara in him.
Lmao did they really say that? Dude is the definition of a home run threat. 9% of his carries result in 15+ yards. That’s almost one out of every 10 touches. And a juke rate of 43.9%. Ridiculous.
They list him as 5’10” 210lbs. There’s no way. He 5’8” at best and the weight is most likely not 210. I’m wondering how he could hold up in the NFL and Id like to see what his pass blocking looks like. There’s no doubt in my mind that pound for pound he’s probably the strongest guy on his team and it’s awesome that he knows how to protect his body with his finesse. He’s one of the best RBs I’ve ever seen in college. I just question how it will hold up going against NFL defenders for 17+ games a season.
ken walker- 5'9 211lbs at the combine, ran a 4.38s 40 with an impressive 1.49 10 yard split... barry sanders was 5'8 200lbs w/ a sub-4.35 40 yard dash, emmitt smith was 5'9 215lbs w/ a 4.55 40 yard dash. so i'd say after watching some tape he seems like a combo of those 2. doesn't quite have barry's quick twitch "explosive" ability where barry could stop and a dime and be at full speed in a jiffy, but still does have very similar COD. plays more physical than barry, about on par with emmitt, albeit with less between the tackles ability.
It was a travesty that this guy wasn't at least invited to New York for the Heisman. Sixth? Seventh? No way. All you need to know is what MSU's offense (and their record) looked like with and without Walker.
