Human egg doesn't have a vitelline membrane but a vitelline space is present instead.

Mam in my reference book it is given that zona pellucida layer is formed by secondary oocyte.

Seconday ooctye is a structure form due to mesosis 2 and it is remain suspented till metaphase during ovulation. secondary ooctye is. release from ovary it wait form sperm for fertilisation after fertilisation it completed it meosis 2 and structure is formed which is called ovum /ova/otid all are same

1 correction Human egg is Alecithal(yolk is neglegible) Microlecithal- yolk is very small Example- egg of amphioxus, eutheria

Mam is right. Zona pellucida is an secondary membrane which is the product of ovarian follocles. Primary membrane is the vitelline mb which is made by cell itself. If have any doubts search on Google🔍
