Bonjour, Je suis curieuse, votre client a aimé la taille finale de cette magnifique tortue ? J’ai acheté le pdf et je vous remercie de l’avoir mis en ligne. La vidéo, même si ce n’était pas votre but premier d’en faire un tuto, est assez claire pour bien suivre mais j’avais la flemme de tout recopier 🫣 et je trouve important de soutenir financièrement des gens qui, comme vous, mettent gratuitement à disposition le fruit de leur travail, même lorsque c’est une passion. J’ai juste un problème. En Suisse, je ne trouve pas ce fil de taille 7. J’ai demandé à mon magasin habituel s’il comptait en fabriquer mais je n’ai toujours pas de réponse. (Pourtant, vu comment le crochet revient à la mode, il y aurait un sacré marché à prendre au niveau national.) Donc même si tous ceux qui font du crochet s’accordent à dire qu’il ne faut pas doubler ou tripler le fil pour un Amigurumi, je pense que je n’aurai pas le choix car, sur Etsy, soit il n’est pas livrable en Suisse, soit les frais de port sont trop élevés (sans compter la TVA et le dédouanement😵). Idem pour les autres sites sur lesquels j’ai trouvé cette laine. C’est pareil pour les yeux sécurisés. Nous n’avons pas toutes les grandes tailles. Inutile de préciser que je ne culpabilise absolument pas d’acheter sur Temu, mais je le précise quand-même😂. Merci encore une fois pour cette vidéo pleine de belle énergie. It’s because the yarn is so big! If you “skip” the first round and make the magic circle the amount of stitches as the 2nd round it won’t be pointy anymore. Ex: the magic circle is supposed to be 6 stitches, but make it 12 so it’s not pointy. Hope this helps!

You take your tapestry needle and using the tail of the fins/tail/head, weave the tail in and out to sew onto the body :)

to help your muscles i recommend using compression gloves or sleeves. if those are uncomfortable then kt tape or any other brand of kinesiology tape works well with relieving stress and aiding mobility. i crochet a lot at times and found it to be very helpful to use either when crocheting

Love all the work you create but also share with us! Hair dresser here. When my wrists (knees, lower back and neck) ache, sometimes the cream “Voltaren” helps. I’m in Canada so may be a different name. The active ingredient in it is “Diclofenac”. It helps immensely… with proper breaks and stretching! I’ve also been crocheting quite a bit. I’ve found larger handles on my hooks also helps a lot! Cheers! ❤️❤️❤️

To be honest, probably like…a pound and a half worth?? The turtle weighed like 5 pounds in total so after you take out the weigh of the yarn itself and the head, I feel like it was around a pound and a half of stuffing (24oz) lol, especially if you want to get it really full!

Awesome, Beautiful, Great Job ❤ i used to have that pain when doing crochet n so i place pillows under both my arms/elbows to give my arms support while i crochet n i also sit on soft cushioned sofa n i have never had that again again. It also helped with neck pain. Try it Jenna n ur arms won't fall out...lol 😂 Love ur videos, so funny n inspiring 😊❤😊

This pattern was perfect! I made this to sell. Yeah, not happening. I LOVE this! I use it to sit up and watch tv. It’s a great pillow. It is beyond CUTE and your pattern is absolute perfection! Thank you sooooo much for this. It is the only thing I have ever kept for myself. On top of that, I have enough yarn left over to make a second and it only took me two days.
