Not gonna lie @FREAKINRICAN169 I was upset. I wanted a RB that went in the 4th jets kept trading back and missed out on... but now I'm not so disappointed lol. This a biiiig bOY! Lol
If you're a badgers fan and watch most games you'll know that he is basically a slightly better AJ Dillon. Everyone thinks he runs with power, which you can trick yourself into believing by watching highlights, but in reality, he doesn't use his size consistently at all. He's a bowling pin for his athletic profile and has little to no wiggle. The positive is that he's so young he can still develop. Also his age adjusted production is insane. However he's not a derrick henry type runner at all. Like I said, comp is AJ Dillon
Get Breece more touches in the pass game and let Allen do more of the dirty work. 10 point lead late let Allen chew up yardage and preserve Breece for the next game. Welcome to the Jets!
Only reason Wisconsin was worth watching cuz this dude is a BIG ass bruiser and he can cruise too. Hes like a human Escalade. replacement for Derrick Henry on the Titans would be crazy.
They have him slated as a Day 3 Prospect. In the Modern NFL a back that can pass block and run effectively, out of shotgun; is an Offensive Chess Piece that transcends the Running Back Position
Yeah I noticed that too, the announcers also kept saying he’s 245 and I’ve only seen him listed 10lbs lighter, maybe he’s ditched the weight and got quicker? Either way he looks more like 4.55-4.6 out there
@@samuelault4723 possibly, feel like he’s a lil slower than 4.6 since he didn’t run the 40 and Derek Henry ran a 4.6 and rarely gets caught like he does at comparatively the same size
That’s hilariously wrong. Henry is a top heavy outside tackle runner. Allen is a classic big tall bacj thats hip and thigh heavy with inbetween the tackle strength and agility but missing henrys trademark breakaway speed. There’s a lot more to fb than size comparisons
Lots of him just running through huge holes and going untouched for a good distance. I wanted to see more of him lowering his shoulder and bowling right into and through other players (and there is some of that here).
@billsmafia - BILLSs need to draft THIS guy... Between Cook and (this) Allen the Bills could run all over teams. Josh's arm and this RB duo could b dangerous..
Braelon looked more fluis and agile as a freshman, he either gained too much weight, got too big, or was hurt. Still a very good running back but his freshman year he looked elite
They said that about frank Gore and Derrick Henry too, you can’t go into a draft with that mindset you draft banking on positive upside not hypothetical down side
@apslife1989 I'm agreeing with you I was replying to @stickywilliams2820 I'm pretty sure they didn't either but the wear and tear these backs put they body through they only good for a few years
