🙋🏻‍♀️ Hey there! Welcome or welcome back! Hope you had a great winter break and holiday season!
In this video, I'll be going over the final three admission categories of the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto - Humanities, Physical & Mathematical Sciences, and Social Sciences! I primarily used the Admission Categories website once again, and all three admission streams do not require a supplementary application. I hope this was helpful for you if you are considering applying to the University of Toronto and coming here soon! I am not an admissions officer, and this video aims to guide and assist you in navigating different UofT websites.
***In the video, I mentioned that there was a Psychology program under Humanities, but there is none. Psychology is a program under the Life Sciences category only. I was actually thinking of a program like HEALTH STUDIES, which is under both Humanities and Social Sciences admission categories.

Thank you this video was very informative!! So I got accepted into humanities but the major I actually want is psychology. I wasn’t able to make the high school requirements for it cause I only took 12 data management. Is there still a way for me to get an undergrad degree in psychology?

I wish I had this when I was applying to UofT!! Would've been nice to know my admissions stream doesn't restrict what FAS program I can do

Hi Aimee. I love all of your content, I believe it’s very informative! I have just been recently accepted into the physical and mathematical sciences field, and am going to be majoring in actuarial science! I just had one quick question, are u of t students allowed to double major in two different fields strait from first year? Thank you so much! Keep up the great content!👌

🎉 Congratulations on your acceptance! Thanks for the kind words! First year tends to be a "general year" where you take mandatory introductory courses for your program, but you are able to choose your courses as well (i.e. you can take some electives). You choose your specialist/major/minor after your first year as most programs of study require prerequisites. Wish you all the best in September!

Thanks so much for this video, I’m really curious about course sections, if I applied physics in physical mathematical science do I need to take social science course or other non-physics&math related courses? Really appreciate that!

Absolutely! Thank you for checking out the video! 👍🏽 You may need to take courses that are not specific to your program to complete your breadth requirements, which are a part of your HBSc degree requirements. For example, you can take a course in social sciences to complete Category 3 for breadth. You don't have to complete them all during your first year, so you can spread them out throughout your time in uni. Hope this helps! ☺️
