Excellent tutorial on building and protecting a base. I learned a lot from this. I do have two questions though. How did you change the colour of interactive objects from white to pink? Also, how did you remove the rubbish inside the houses (all the piles of plastic garbage bags etc)? ✴✴✴✴✴ 5 stars!
I am glad that the video was helpful to you. You can change colours in settings->gameplay->highlightingcolors. you can remove rubbish with a hammer in your hand. then go to the build menu and hold ‘X’ when the rubbish lights up
Where do you get so much wood and barbed wire? I mean trees obviously (for wood) but do you just get a crap ton before making a video? It always seems like you have all the materials you need. Love watching your videos btw they're very helpful.
the video was made on an official server. so it is not possible to spawn items. at the workbench barbed wire can be made from sheetmetal and nails. so many loot runs were necessary on which I dismantled cars.

You can build raised floors, you just need to place it against something, so build a half wall and then place floors on top, or ideally anything you can climb onto that is static you can build off, dumpster bins, sandbags, reinforced stone blocks... you can even use walls. But i would suggest you build off the floor, always an minimize built structures to zeek attack. If you are going to build an elevated base make all floors you build with ceilings not floors. that way you can see thru them as you drive under or walk under. Double rows of barbed wire will kill all zeeks even the larger green juggernaut zeeks.
do you get mods ? :o i cant attach ceiling to ceiling then moving 20-30 degree and staying attach i got a problem with "R" switch detection - with or without floor / ceiling, its totally red... :@ :@ :@
Nope no mods installed. Ceilings can only be connected straight to others. No possibility to connect them and then rotate them. Ceilings can only be connected to other ceilings or walls. The "R" problem is that after the last update it is now only used to pack materials into blueprints that you can't reach otherwise.
