But chimps aren't domestic animals, they're wild animals, so they still have those natural instincts intact in their genes, moreover, a chimp is a fairly aggressive animal, they're extremely territorial and are even more aggressive than gorillas. Of course individual chimps must have some genetic variations between each other, but that variation isn't on the instincts. Instincts are concrete behaviours that's kept unchanged within the genes of any individual of a species. So, yeah all chimpanzees, even the ones that live with humans, still have the instincts to tear someone's arm and rip someone's face
