Been looking into ancient civilizations for a while now and I really like the ideas that come out of the research. Giants, holes to the center of the earth, strange disappearances. It's strange how many people scoff and laugh when you talk about this stuff. Maybe you'll enjoy these thoughts.

Your videos are always a treat, you've made a huge impact on my life whether directly or indirectly. I remember first watching your mushroom videos and starting to wonder about the significance of such substances, I remember going on your livestreams and asking you for tips on how to go about it my first time and you replying something along the usual lines of set & setting. It took me over a year for me to finally take the step, and I have to say, my life has never been the same since. My first trip was with about 5g (I say "About" because we didn't have a scale and we just split 10g in 2), and it was crazy, I learned so much, but more importantly, it opened the door to so much more. Since then I've tripped another 4 or so times, both alone and with my closest friends and I can see so clearly they're going through some incredible changes already, I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. Thank you Barry, for being such a good influence (Not because of the drugs of course 🤪), your thoughts have always been really well thought out, I find myself agreeing with you more often than not. I genuinely hope everything in your life goes the best way possible, whatever you consider being the best for you. Love ya ❤

Great vid Barry, even as a standard Christian I agree that we don’t play enough with the origins story. The tree in the garden of Eden was the tree on the knowledge of Good and Evil, and in the Revelations the Devil is called the great “accuser”. My argument has been that the knowing of what’s good and evil, the constant peddling in your head about it is what God didn’t want for us, we suffer heart ache and grow weary and old, it even probably blocks creation or creativity, most of us know what we want but fear and do good-arism block our steps. Another interesting thing from Genesis and the sequence of events was the Devil only made his move after Eve was made, it’s clear that he and the fallen angels were upset that after this whole beautiful world was made it was given to this “man” and then this man gets a companion so beautiful (read Adam talking about leaving his parents for her). After the fall the fallen Angels take woman as their mates and procreate… the universe is expanding faster than anyone ever imagined, that’s the thing with humans, we tend to only trust what we see and let that shape our view, while out there, around and within us, creation is happening.

The biblical story and take is very interesting. As a muslim I believe that the real reason we have true intelligence is because with it we can become the best possible creation. Angels can't be the best because they have no free will or choice to disobey. We along with spirits are empty slates that can really be the best of creation do to intelligence along with choice. Also screw people who don't ever want to get into these kinds of interesting theories and thought exercises. How can someone not ever take a moment to think about this stuff when it's so core to us. Such NPCs.

@@BulletBarry Definetly, you'll find that despite the popular similarities between Christianity and Islam, they are drastically different worldviews in understanding the nature of man and his relationship to God and his environment. I think your message at the end rang true, people who dont reflect on their existence and these big questions are missing out and not taking advantage of the rational faculties they have at their disposal. If you ever get the chance to read the Quran, a common theme that God condemns mankind for is being blinded by their arrogance and fallacious reasoning by not using their rationality to reflect upon the creation of the Heavens, the earth, its creatures, and even themselves. Surprisingly to some, it's a religion that emphasizes heavily on encouraging people to think about the bigger questions using eloquent imagery and logical arguments and to not blindly follow what their forefathers have told them. Humans were the dominant species long before ancient civilizations and religion. Also, it's sort of a chicken and egg about intellectual evolution and the answer to that is the same as the biological one. However, the notion that a higher power of some kind would train the one directly underneath them because, as ancient civilizations conquered and colonized the world, they brought wealth, knowledge, technology, and social structures to people who never had them. The migration of intellectuals directly correlates with the wealth of nations over the long term span of history and it would make sense that could happen in the context of multiple species but someone's writings are not to be believed in place of physical artifacts, as interesting as they may be.
