I mean, the lady is her psychiatric patient. She's presumably trying to help her stay calm or something. Also, it could just be her regular prescription. I go to my psychiatrist every two months because I have to in order to get my prescription. The meeting itself is largely a formality. "Still got ADHD?" "Yep." Either way, the man and the dog aren't really her job.
i remember watching this movie on cable as a child. the creepy nature of everyone being calm and the weird skin infection left a mark in my memory, but i could never find the movie until now
That’s such a great feeling. Years and years not remembering something, then finally finding it - despite every, single attempt. Then finally coming across it by complete happenstance.
@@notsoberoveranalyzer8264 and now that were on the subject of finding stuff hidden in our memory, here's other stuff im struggling to find: - a book about sentient toys but in a dark fantasy art style and the main character is a jack in the box. - an "I-Spy/Wheres-Waldo" style of book. all i remember is that the book takes place on an island that's an anagram for "dragon". the story is about a village where everyone lost their hair to an evil wizard and 3 adventurers are selected on an adventure to break the evil wizard's spell. - an online web browser game, most likely runs on Flash. You play as a steampunk flying machine swinging a stick/mace/flail around trying to duel other flying machines doing the same thing
When i was a kid i watched a movie about Satans son being switched in the Maternity ward and the trouble the other parents and their kids seams to have with him. in the end he comes by to pick him up and gives their son back. Cant find that one either.

I used to think it was really unrealistic in zombie movies that people would hide bites... Covid very much showed how realistic that shit is@@siberwolf33
I was a teenager when a friend took me to go see it. I fell asleep during the whole movie and I’ve never fell asleep during any movie ever even to this day. I’m not saying this movie was boring or anything like that I’m just saying I fell asleep and I’m sure it scared my friend lol
Aliens offer of peace, no crime or discrimination while at the same time tackling anyone who shows emotion and throwing a molotov through a car. Right, right...

@TheWirdbird - this 2007 movie ("The Invasion”) has some parallels to the Corona/Covid19 plandemic of 2019-2022 incl. intentional mass spread of the virus (like RU-vid censoring reports about the virus in late 2019 + "hug a chinese" in Italy + lavish fests in china in 2019 ) & harmful mass stings + forcing as many people as possible into these stings
Girls do the same thing unfortunately. My husband was one of the few men I've ever met who was capable of having platonic relationships with women, but women would always eventually feel further. The fact that we're married is proof that our friendship was no exception lol.
So let me get this straight... The head of the CDC cuts himself on a piece of space debris that even John Q Public is wary to touch, that has been established to contain unknown micro-organisms, possibly of alien origin, that have be shown to multiply rapidly and be tough to kill, and his response is, "Ooh. Gross. Well, off to bed."
I like movies like this, this and the Giver, Equilibrium and some other few movies tackling the concept of how no emotions would be better to us and trying to show that part of what makes us human is those very emotions that may bring us to trouble. Its like every good thing in the world must come with a little bit of bad, and it must be accepted.
Exactly. It doesn't fit in a "likes-based" society that is stuck in its own filter bubble, and despite all of these being fiction it is very much our reality that we should accept. There are tons of things that are dislike which should be known and shared yet due to algorithms it's all bs being pushed to the forefront. The only way out of that box is extending away from the general norms to stop the algorithms pushing you back in.
@@EeliusAstarothI'm not convinced purposely contradicting prevailing norms is a good plan by itself. Those norms maintain cohesion albeit at times bringing comorbities into the society such as is seen by the destructive trends of treasonous tik tok challenges being promoted by Chinese government owned social media giant dba tik tok inc. Anyway I fear the future online discussions about how to deal with future problems bc of the rise of chat gpa which can speak coherently enough to sound like a smarter human than most commenters who participate in online discussions. Here's to hoping we overcome the difficulties.
@@TheAnantaSesa seems like something you'd have to trust your fellow man to tell the difference. Just because it "sounds smart" doesn't make it plausible or even comprehensive. Even then, just like any one or thing attempting to dissuade, it's up to the individual to see and tell the differences which lead to sound or logical conclusions that hold out in the long run. Even if I were, say, talking to a generated chat, as annoying as it can be it also means for good practice and skill building. So take what you're dealt and turn it into something for the better. ATM, if algorithms are based on what an individual likes and looks up then it's sensible to add to that by deviating from the general norms. Yes, technology progresses and changes, but as Darwinism has proven you either adapt and be a part of the change for the better, or fail. Another, is not participating in anything that proves to be a risk and/or unnecessary such as ticktock. Just like other platforms, they can come in popularity and abate over time into it's own set of sm Darwinism. Either or, doing something and acknowledging what is currently doable for the situation is still a much better solution over being afraid of the future and allowing it to be doom and gloom when you could've done something and chose to do nothing. Seeing evil and doing nothing is just another equivalent of allowing it to progress when something could've been done to prevent it. Thus far, seems like if things like ticktock continues to prove being a liability then there isn't anything to worry about because that's where faith in our fellow men come into play to see the differences and reasonings that are sensible for continued social platforms worth keeping around. I also personally don't care for it and don't see any reason to have it so I don't have one. 🤷♀️ so I don't see a problem for me particularly because I'm also not supporting/contributing to any problem associated with that platform which just further supports my reasonings. More so because I also know plenty who do not use it, either, so being concerned about it seems like an unnecessary concern when there are other things out there worth your energy and attention. You can't control the whole, but what you do matters as others can see and reflect the same in turn. Which also makes it important and worth knowing/doing. You only get that if we continue what we are now which is socialize in the best means possible, and trusting others will understand if not also implement.
There is a quote that fits this quite well "I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees", by Eliliano Zepata (edit: Emiliano Zepata) . The aliens offered humanity peace at the cost of its freedom. Even though we do not have total peace, we are free and I would not want to trade that in at any cost, not to aliens or despots.
I would be happy if I get 100% at cost of emotions. I am mostly apathetic anyways 🤷. Don't feel emotions much. But I don't want to turn into a snake skin cocoon thingie and die
Peace is found in Christ 💛 and while we are free because we have free will, most people are still in bondage to sin. But Jesus is able to free us and give us new hearts that dont desire to sin 💛
Kind of illogical that Carol would give her son over to her ex husband, who literally shows the symptoms of an infected person she has seen previously.
I like all of the three versions of this movie that I’ve seen. And I love that Veronica Cartwright had a cameo in the latest version. Spoilers: The 50s one, is a must watch horror classic, the 70s one, has the best jump scare ending, but this one has the happiest ending. ETA: because it’s a repeated query… This movie’s is called “The Invasion” and it flashes up at the beginning of this video. The movies from the 50s and 70s are both called “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” and the 90s movie is called “Body Snatchers”.
It's called "The Invasion" (2007) and based on the same story. It was a bad movie that you couldn't really help but watch if you saw it. It reminds me some of "The Happening."
I saw this movie a long time ago. I remember it feeling pretty low budget, but overall enjoyed it. My opinion back then is the same as right now; this is way creepier than your average zombie apocalypse.
I vaguely remembered this movie. Honestly, I preferred the faculty, where there was no hesitation to allow humanity to live. Talking like the aliens will make a better society is just a response to avoid resistance from humans. There was no proof they would hold their word.
It's not "literally" a rip off. It's a remake of the concept like many movies before have had. There were 3 other remakes before this one even as well.@@kelsey2333
This is basically like world war Z but without zombies. Even ppl that are sick cannot get infected bc they only want a healthy host. Idk it’s making me realise how many movies are the exact same time just with different scenarios
That’s how a lot of virus’ work. They prefer a healthy host so it can live and spread. Contrary to popular belief, a virus does not want/intend to k*ll its host.
@12:49 “No crime, no hate, no discrimination”. Then, @12:47 Ben mentions that they hate immunity and proceeds to dis-criminate and hurt Oliver, who’s immune and won’t fit in the new society. So, which one is it?!? 🤔🤷♀️
I really enjoyed watching this film (2007) ‘The Invasion’. Plenty of suspense and wondering how this version will end!! It has a much better ending than the other two films ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers’ from 1956 and 1978. I have not seen the 1993 version, nor the 2017 version.
Finally a movie I play a part in. I have Asperger's so I'm like that normally. I have emotions but it's like my emotions are barley connected to my facial mussels it takes a lot. But I don't need to yawn or hiccups so maybe I have more mental control over my body reflects.
This is the fourth remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The patient in this version is Veronica Cartwright, Jeff Goldblums girlfriend in the 1978 version. Leonard Nemoy is also in it with a cameo in the 1993 version and the star of the original, Kevin McCarthy, has a cameo in the 78 version.
This is the second remake of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. Veronica Cartwright also appeared in the 1st remake w/Donald Sutherland and Leonard Nimoy. A young Daniel Craig appears here as well ( look closely).
The title is blocked by the subtitles, it's shown right at the beginning. You have to turn subtitles off to be able to see it. It's an idiotic placement tbh It's "The Invasion" (2007)
I’ve never seen this movie, but if the woman had directed the kid to plunge the syringe into her heart, then I honestly rather doubt he would have had the strength to do it. He’d have to thrust hard enough to puncture through her sternum and still reach the heart lol. That’s one incredibly strong 4-year-old 🤣
The story of a couple in an empty world keeps you glued to the screen. 🌍 The amazing scenes in Iceland and the emotions are just incredible. A big fan of this movie 🎥👏
I just watched the movie, it was pretty good ngl. Plot was pretty convenient at the start with having CDC get infected, and extra convenient with the ending, but the characters acted reasonably. People figured it out at different times, and they tried to warn each other while blending in with the aliens. The mother wasn't negligent, once she pieced it together she went to get her kid so that they can get to a quarantine zone.
12 years before COVID... obviously it was a fake plandemic planned not years but decades before 2019. Thats why Event201 specified a coronavirus months before the alleged outbreak.
Actually, it was made during the SARS and Bird Flu epidemics. The US Government just never seems to learn its lesson about containing these outbreaks before the insurance companies and big pharma make sloppy attempts to for some reason!
