India never ceases to amaze me. Next, see my trip INSIDE a meteorite crater ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5rrnsnbcC0k.html. If you want a guide for Bhimbetka, you can contact Vimal on +91 9893 280 326. You’ll find guides at the caves too.
This is wonderful! Your guide amazes me. All that knowledge and not stumbling over a single word. I will say Drew Binsky and Yes Theory/Seek Discomfort have been to cave drawings in Southern Iraq, and in Aboriginal areas of Australia archaelogists have placed as 30,000 years old, and 60,000 years old (prehistoric man), respectively. The human art world may have started only a few hundred miles from your origin in New Zealand, Karl! How great is that? You're my go-to for Indian and Pakistani cuisine.

I love the initiative the Govt of Bharat has taken to amend textbooks with updated knowledge as reference, to boot. Thanks Karl, keep on Rockin it. [edit] This is one of your most meaningfully influential episodes. Again, thank you in deep appreciation.
Amazing Karl. The knowledge, passion and appreciation of this humble staff member is the greatest. Won’t get this in Australia without paying through your teeth. Please Karl send me this guides details. I want to donate a sum for him…he deserves it. Thank you
It's amazing to think how isolated some Central Indian communities were. They were still living in the Paleolithic while North Indian rulers were having interaction with the Greeks and the Chinese and waging wars all over the subcontinent, building massive cities and having armies of thousands of elephants and horses. The interactions that happened between the "advanced" North Indians and the hunters from Central India would have been so fascinating. Imagine seeing horses for the first time, imagine getting to learn agriculture for the first time. It was no less fascinating than the interactiom between Europeans and Native Americans.
Wtf , these bhimbetka civilization is more than 20000 years , the history yu are talking about is not more than 5000 years old , so yu can say these central indians of bhimbetka were the pioneer of whole indian civilization, like harrapan , mohanjodaro Indus valley , European were invaders in North America they were thinking they found india and conquered, killed them , while we indians ,North east west south has genetically culturally same people .. Yu can research about this almost all indians have same DNA ,
A huge huge time difference though.....our interaction with greece......through trade was during Harappa civilization that started in 2600 BCE and what the paleolithic and mesolithic figures are of 5000BCE to 4000BCE........So can;t compare the pre-history with period of protohistory and history !
Excellent! I was just reading about Indore (have you been? - i'd love to see a proper report!) - I'm considering moving to India and Indore seems to check a lot of boxes. Keep up the good work!
Hey Bro. Don't worry; it's normal for a channel like mine, which covers so many different topics. Plus I probably peaked 2 years ago. But I'm still very happy creating videos. My reels are really popular these days.
@@KarlRock okay man, was just a little bit worried. Sadly I dont watch reels, but keep up the good work. I Enjoy every video and learned so much about India even though I'm from the Netherlands and have never been there!
Such an amazing video and the tour guide immersed deep I to his profession to Share as much knowledge and promote, sad that not a lot of people go here.
I made it a point to visit Bhimbetka on my way back from Bhopal to Nagpur although it was peak summer, May! I didn't regret it. The paintings and rock formations are incredible. Want to see it again leisurely
Nice to see you in MP, Carl Rock. I live in Bhopal and have visited Bhimbetka several times. Sometimes it feels good to just sit there and contemplate. I hope on your way back you made a stop at Bhojpur as well.
I'm pretty sure the earliest cave paintings known to science are in France. It sounds crazy but France was part of Pangea at the time. All the land was in one place
As an historian who has had the privilege to study history from primary sources available to serious academics I can assure you that socalled mainstream history is for entertainment purposes only and not to be taken seriously by anyone who can think criticallly and without racist savagery. Shalawam
With due respect, an older (by 3000 years) site has been discovered 10 kms away from Gurgaon (your sasural). Most likely you (nobody) won't be allowed into that place. At 39:00 you saw a Gond person. They are the original inhabitants of this place. It is after their name that an entire geological formation has been named Gondwana land. Thanks for showing us around.
I amazed that how vimal ji gaining body weight here in this rock place... because he is worked 20 yrs as a guide... he may have 6 packs body until now.... but very knowledgeable person I must say... thank you Karl...❤
I had seen even in Pachmadi that the guides pressingly tell the travellers that though the place is said to be the abode of Pandavas but infact it was Buddhist abode. Why is it is so? The thoughts cannot be artificially inserted into the minds. It is the natural process to accept some thought process. And changing one's own by birth logo is nothing but a waste of days of life in thinking whether I am riding on the right vehicle. instead of flying, searching for a vehicle
Venture into Madhya Pradesh's deep jungles, and who knows? You might stumble upon ruins straight out of an Indiana Jones adventure!Unearth the mysteries hidden beneath the foliage, adding a touch of cinematic magic to your exploration.
Amazing place! It shows how ignorant international archaelogists and researchers are who have not given any recognition to this. Impressed that the site is so well maintained with walking flagstones and paving, signs with explanation etc. Guide sahib is ok; needs to pause and talk, problem with our Indian people they never pause. He is just rattling off what he wants to say. Listen to others dude and take a pause! Geology information is partly incorrect. Sandstone is not sedimentary rock, it is metamorphic. I saw potential igneous rock intrusion as well at least at one location which is possible if fractures exist. In addition to carving of rocks by flowing water, there were parts with horizontal striations that are typically erosional marks by glaciers or ice. Given that the site is so old, during the last ice age at 2000 meters easily ice must have existed and when it melted the ice moved carving much of the harder rock. Acid rain can cause those holes where the softer calcite existed.
