While I see and write with inspiration from highly acclaimed authors, it is very interesting that a channel that is COMPLETELY automated is so appreciated. While even the stories belong to artificial intelligence.
Hey really good story...I would suggest breaking up the various parts of this into mini stories and call it The Valerian Krall series...it breaks the immersion and totally upends suspension of disbelief when the rising and falling action is endless "we are doomed, hero saves the day by skin of their teeth/seems to die, victory assured, but then turns out not at all because of that pyrrhic victory cost...then rinse repeat...if there was some in between fluff about how more motherships came out of hiding etc and it not seeming like Everytime Krall has to save the universe singlehandedly while splitting the stories up it would be a lot more manageable and feasible otherwise great job!!
There is also a LOT of inconsistency in the plotline...most importantly Esme the love interest that dies...originally she was one of the third ragtag band that Krall joined to fight the harvesters...they were going to hit a station and she was caught up and killed, Krall saw her in her cockpit...but later it's explained she was trying to ensure the torpedo fire on the second or third mothership would succeed and he watched her ship "dissapear from his radar and she was gone"...just need more proofreading
Wasn't the harvesters robotic? The mothership launch escape pods before it explode. That means that the harvesters, despite being robotic, has a concept of self and a will to "live". It is possible that they once where biological and they eventually uploaded themselves into artifical bodies. Only listen for half an hour so far. Lets se where this goes.
Amazing job you're doing. Top notch narration gives the stories life. This is not AI, there's no way this is AI. AI manipulation of the voice itself perhaps but you still need a talented voice actor to achieve this level of quality. Still requires a talented voice actor to make it come to life. AI isn't capable of doing this yet. AI runs from a rake on a chalkboard to just mildly irritating with the horrid pronunciation, or monotone emotionless readings of the story. Intonation and dramatic emphasis still remains in the hands of true Thespians. Truly blown away at the level of quality being posted by you. Awesome work there Sir. PLEASE keep 'em coming. I'm hooked
I had to stop listening around 18 minutes in- the way some of the words were 'read' out loud was extremely jarring. 'ter-sa-ly' 'intor-cep-tor' 'brok-e' 'streak-ed' all in rapid fire.
