How do explosions reverberate through space? Sound does not travel in the vacuum of space. Is the author ignorant of basic science? That's a rhetorical question, of course he is. A tactical error, landing a vessel without utilizing it's aerial capabilities to neutralize enemy positions, land and jeopardize your troops lives needlessly. In what logical universe would the captain of the main fleet lead a ground attack supporting a colony. You send in the troops trained for that mission as any good captain would do. Carter appears to be adept at falling into traps. The story continues it's headlong rush into absurdity with the joining of forces with the rebel Zardians, of which no explanations are forthcoming. I had hopes that this series would slip into the realm of good writing, it never gets there.
I was under the impression that sound waves do propagate thru space even tho you can't hear the actual sound. there are vids of the sound a black hole or the sun makes out there.
with a joint effort they managed to open the door revealing a vast Hall with old consoles and monitors Briggs activates one of the consoles which flickers to life ... and they play Super Mario Brothers for the next hour.
The council keeps declaring that the humans were the aggressors, but yet there was no mention of the humans stating that it was the council who were the aggressors and that they were only retaliating back
