For me this is worth it just to give Remnant 2 to a friend to play with. Did you mention that it includes a discount coupon for all the remnant 2 dlc???
No problem, K! And yeah, they really have. I had 1000 in June so it's grown a lot, obviously a large part due to Kinglink recommending my channel which I greatly appreciate. It does seem like we'll hit 2k way sooner than I anticipated though.
Thank you! Glad it can help. And yeah, I'm incredibly grateful for Kinglink's support of the channel. It does mean a lot and has helped the channel grow exponentially since he mentioned it last month.
Thanks for the Review! It seems to be a pretty good month, I didn't see anything too terrible there! The only thing that is a bit bothersome is the headliners that are two "sequels" if we can call it that because I'm not certain Remnant is closely linked to the first game. The rest of the roster seems to be okay to good without anything ground breaking either. I'd personally call it a good month overall. I'll now be on my way to watch your Remnant Review!
No problem! And thank you! As far as sequels go...yeah, Persona 5 Strikers seems to be a must to play Persona 5 first. But as for Remnant 2, nope, you don't really need to know anything about the first game. The story of the game while present isn't really that big of a deal. Obviously there's continuity and references to the past game but nothing you couldn't figure out from context clues.
That's understandable. I didn't want to put Dome Keeper down after I was done with it either. Glad the review could help you find something else you might like though!
Thank you! And completely agree. Dome Keeper and Jusant were sorta hidden gems for me. I had knew of them by name but not much else. Glad I could add them to my library to give them a go.
Mcpixel is like the old flash games where you just see the different interactions. Alright popcorn for me. Remnant records is ugh. I had no interest for Phasmo, and this is a subpar version, skip. Station is fine, cozy puzzle worth a shot. Jack is alright. Not mindblowing but maybe some good short time. Dome is aaaaah, I want to play this right now! Wishlist as expected. Jusant seems pretty unique and interesting, fairly short as well. Wishlist. Strikers uh, yeah, I would need to play the main game first. Remnant 2, well I need to play the first first, but seems fun. Wishlist. Sad month yeah, although that's a high note to go on. 3 Wishlists and only 1 skip. The monthly game I admit I already started, it's going to be Jusant hehe! And speaking of, the game I played this month was the car parking one, was pretty fun!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts as always, Orian! Well, with Jusant's short play time that should be another one for you to scratch off! Good to hear the parking game was fun for you. Did you happen to play with friends or just solo the levels?
Not at all! There's obviously continuity between both games but I don't really think you'd be confused as to what's going on. There's a lot of optional exposition in the beginning to catch you up to speed if you care. If not, then you can pretty much enjoy the game as a standalone experience. If you happen to own the first Remnant though, I'd still highly recommend playing it just because if it's a fun game.
P5 Strikers is definitely missing half of its value if you haven't played P5. When I played it, it was a fun rompy victory lap after the events of the main story - primarily a way to see more of the characters you got attached to while enjoying a different game style than the turn based style of the persona games. The gameplay is fine but so much of it is held together by being a side story for the P5 game that it doesn't really feel like it works as a standalone game.
I imagine so! I really need to get on playing Persona 5...or any of the Persona games for that matter. They sound really fun but I think their insanely long playtimes have always scared me off haha.
All I can say is that I think it's worth it. I think P5R took me a bit over 100 hours to clear (it'll be a bit faster if you don't listen to the full voice lines) but in terms of quality per hour, the value is really high. There are games that will occupy dozens to hundreds of hours that can pass the time well, but there are few games that will make you want to forget them so that you can experience them for the first time all over again. Note: I'm a serial game abandoner and P5R is one of the few long games that I've actually finished. How much of that was because I was playing it on game pass and didn't want to pay for an extra month... Well.
@@memetic_hazard Hey, if it kept you occupied for over a 100 hours that you blew through in a month then it must have been an amazing game. Game Pass fee or not haha.
Most definitely. I feel Choice is pretty much always worth it money-wise...it's whether or not there's enough games there to actually hold an individual's attention. Glad it worked out for you this month!
I don't get the point of these "reviews", you rant negatively about each game while mentioning crucial gameplay mechanics you didn't play enough to find, so why make this video? It's like making a commentary on 5 movies but you only watched 20 minutes of each and you complain they didn't grab your attention, like, why? Do you make these videos for views? Because honestly who cares about your opinion if it's not even 1/4 baked.
