Here’s something to think about Everybody, who’s a weightlifter started at one point in their time we can all agree on that right? But say that guy started weightlifting 10 years ago, and the other guy only start weightlifting a year ago Everybody starts at different times of their life, and everybody deserves to have respect .
Those are fake plates, dude. I know the physics of how that bar and plates handle even in the hands of an Icelandic powerlifter they wouldn't appear as if they have no mass
@ErnestoMaldonado-mq8mx you're mistaken. Weights are absolutely real. Don't know what physics you studied but on earth those aren't weightless... I performed this act in high-school 36 years ago
@@Ben-qm9zqno no, he meant there’s stuff called fake weights which for example, a fake 20kg weight would look exactly the same as a normal 20kg but would actually weigh like 10 or less
@GojoEditz5731 these aren't fake weights. As I mentioned b4, I personally performed this feat back in the 80's in the high-school gym. You NEED the weight to pull this off. They can't be fake.
Not big weights and honestly all three of them guys probably can do that they look like they train together. And that guy is curling it I'm sure he probably can do that too
Exactly, I think the smart-*ss forgets he was once new to the gym himself. Maybe he's just proud that his roid money is getting results. It's not like the kid was trying to lift 350-lbs.
For those who think this isn't possible or think these are fake weights, the momentum you build as you throw the weight up actually makes a backflip easier. I recommend starting out with lighter weights first as more momentum from extra weight can make you over rotate.
Yep ! The gymrat bobblehead had to show off and thinking he was going to humble the young man who was just trying his best curling the 135# Typical narcissist
There’s a difference between humbling and disrespecting. Edit: I never even said this was real I’m just saying in this scene he disrespected him and not humbled. Edit2: Mitchc4474 in the reply’s said it great go to them reply it’s one of the last reply’s so just scroll down to the bottom and you will see it. Have a good day.
@@kenyattamitchell2299 I doubt you can do a backflip, but on the off chance you can, try doing one with a 45 pound weight in your hand. That’s how much the bar weighs by itself
They are real weights, but keep in mind there's a lot of physics involved in this -- the weights actually helped him. As long as you can pick up and hold the weight you can flip like that, the weights will leverage you. -dc
We know it's all bad acting, as is 99% of shorts/tiktoks/reels, but the argument or story scripted behind this video is indeed sad and pathetic (also, I'm sure there's physics behind the way he grabbed the bar, not being the same way of lifting the other guy was doing, and the motion he forces onto the bar before jumping). But hey, they got us into watching and commenting... So mission accomplished for them I guess 🤷🏻♂️
@@JackPelaFoxyeah, they got us on the first view. Total fake. You can see it when he puts the bar back as well, it's like there is no weight there. Don't believe much I see or hear on the net these days. Like I've always said, " we are living in a lie".
@@dianalives2669just start this video is fake and the people in the gym won’t judge you or anything, everyone is focusing on themselves, even the biggest dudes.
Even if they were real, he said "lets go humble him" like bro was being cocky about it ☠️ hes pointed towards a wall with a dude in front of him... I dont think anyone thinks hes big... Not even himself
Bro just said he "humbled" a kid just minding his buisness. Edit: I don't mean to be that guy, but my notifications going crazy. Edit 2: sorry I didn't know they are friends
Agreed! He was minding his own business.. I'd like to see joey swoll's opinion on this..probably "mind your own business" "you need to do better" I see other comments saying they know each other..so what joey did an upload on something similar with a kid who had bad form with a dumbells and a pro swimmer mocked him..but hey its cool cause they know each other.
"There's no need to be scared to go to the gym, nobody cares about you and what you're doing, because everyone's busy doing their own things" I'm just gonna make myself an at-home mini gym
Bro it's just a skit And for all of u guys that are saying that he needs to get humbled, just stop, and on top of it, SOME OF U are begging for likes while commenting hate And none of u are even talking about how the other dude basically called him weak.. What did this guy do wrong???He's just a random guy posting smth on RU-vid.. This is also very annoying please stop ❤❤ Famous words from the bible: do onto others as you would like them to do onto you....
@@mr.k3477tf you mean yes it is. Most people like this lack self confidence, they feel a need to prove themselves to other people they think are weaker in order to preserve their egos and self value.
@@mr.k3477 You either a troll or just someone with fucked up morals and parent issues. If you're going to make idiotic statements without proving your point I ain't wasting time debating you.
It's clearly fake because the stooge knows to speak into the mic. But i swear these days more ppl think it is alright to ask questions when you are lifting.
If you think this is “selling it” you probably think a lot of these skits are real lol. There was nothing about this that didn’t scream staged, and they know that. Looking obviously fake is what ads humor
I would of been like ooooo we got one rep folks and he is out of there. Back to the gymnast mat to do flips holding a bar like some funny monkey. What ever the hell that was back to our regular man stuff programing.
