Hell yeah. He's everyone's Captain America. And speaking of Canadians, Ryan Reynolds. I heard that he is going to be in the new Marvel Universe Deadpool. I can't wait for him to be part of MCU. I've always love Ryan Reynolds acting. I've even subscribed to him to watch him make jokes on his channel. I've been his subscriber for about a year and I enjoy his videos a lot.

@@a.t.francis2716 They have got to be working on a Young Avengers movie coming in the next couple years. Wandavision introduced her two sons. Falcon and Winter Soldier introduced Eli. Cassie Lang is already in 3 of the movies. Kate Bishop is coming in the Hawkeye show. There was a teen boy standing by himself at Iron Man's funeral scene that might be the kid from Iron Man 3. Possibly "Iron Lad" or whatever. Odds are they're gonna intro Hulkling in Captain Marvel 2 or wherever Monica Rambeau and the skrulls show up next. That's 7 characters we know of who'll be ready to suit up and carry a team movie within the next 2 to 3 years.

I started crying seeing the last episode of Falcon and winter soldier. As a black man always loving comics but rarely see myself in them. But now CAP is Black Dam this hit me hard. And Isaiah Bradley his story at the end.

Agreed, but the comment about "shirtless Cap" was irritating. It made Anthony a little uncomfortable. I hate to get political, but it's hypocritical for the far left to criticize the media's objectification of women, but then promote it with men. The SJW's raised hell over the Amazon's "bikini armor" in Justice League, even though the actresses themselves were athletes and wanted to show off their muscles. Would he ask that same question to Brie Larson or ScarJo? Doubt it. They had to work out for their superhero roles as well. Ask the question to both sexes, or don't ask it at all.

I've always considered Captain America movies my least favorite MCU films, except Civil War which was basically an Avengers movie, let's be honest. I still liked them, and the symbolism of Cap is great, but I just found Chris's Cap a little.... boring to watch, I guess? But Anthony's Cap... 110% enjoyed every moment of this series, and am *hyped AF* for Cap 4. Definitely the best person to hold that shield in the MCU so far. (There's only been three, to be fair, and one was John, so.... but still!)

We adult fans of comic book media sometimes forget that the main audience for these things should always be kids, and that it's a privilege for us to also enjoy them. There's probably nothing like having a toy made of you that reminds you of that primary audience. :)

I am inclined to disagree. The comics that these characters are based on haven’t been written with children as the main audience since the 1960s. The Phoenix Saga, the Secret Wars, the Clone Saga , etc., these storylines were lengthy and overly complex and written with an older audience in mind. Both Marvel and DC discovered they could continue to monetize their products to sell toys and alternative child friendly versions but the actual books themselves have been more for the Lord of the Ring audience than for small children . I think that it is possible for them to have different versions targeted at different audiences . Obviously the Lego Avengers are going to be kid friendly , but I am grateful for things like the Logan film , and comics like The Long Halloween, that are created with an older audience in mind. Both kid friendly Batman from Bold and the Brave can co-exist with the R-rated Joker film.

I’ve always been Team Cap - Steve or Sam, I’m just glad we still have him around! It makes so much sense for Sam to be the next Cap. Not only was he handpicked by Steve, but Bucky had so much emotional baggage to be wielding the shield. I gotta say tho I’m not totally in love w the white suit but he rocks it. Especially when the vibranium wings are spread out.🥵

Totally agree with that. Sam is a great Captain and man..no matter how often i watch the episode (or the reactions of others to it) i'll never NOT get exited when i see him. BUT i'll be absolutely honest...i really wish Steve (not as Cap) would return in future guest roles. Simply because i absolutely love Chris Evans as Steve (and am crushing hard on that man....dear god he's beautiful). I could imagine that maybe in a future Cap movie, should Sam and Bucky be in danger Steve might return to lend a hand to his best friends

Im not 100% with the white suit personally but it’s canon so I can’t complain. I would assume for the movies they will tweak the head piece because that looks uncomfortable and probably has similar problems to the batsuit.

I sort of agree about the suit, but I get the impression that's the whole point. A big theme in the series is about these people and their stories not being seen or remembered. Maybe with a crazy, flashy suit like that, it'll force people to notice.

I feel so lucky, I got to meet Mr. Mackie at his bar that he has/had in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn in 2011/2. He was behind the bar one night talking to whoever wanted to. He wasn't in the Marvel movies yet so I didn't have much to say to him, but he couldn't have been nicer to me and everyone in there. Fun side note, I called him Mr. Mackie because he insisted everyone there, including staff, call him that, which I think is kinda badass, honestly. I've been rooting for his career success ever since!

“How does it feel?” “Like it’s someone else’s...” Not anymore. This is Captain America, it;s not about putting on a suit. It's about doing what's right. When the world stands before you and tells you to move you say: 'no, you move'. But yeah I remember the tweet where he was celebrating Sam becoming Cap in the comics. He just had to wait a few more years before it became reality on the small screen.

@@cappyjones They hated it in the comics as well. People got all bent out of shape when Falcon took over for Cap a few years back in the comics. And they're going to hate it when Jane Foster takes over as Thor in the movie coming up, again despite the fact that it's already happened in the comics. And people threw fits about it then. It never changes...

@@nekoali2 Jane Foster Thor was cringy, and well...the book sold well, but the reaction was mixed to negative. There was a lot of "WHAT? A WOMAN?!" in there, and trying to elevate Jane Foster Thor, over Thor. And there was some Neo-Fem stuff in there that was....not well taken. And of course, if you didn't like it...you were called "A bigot", "A sexist", "A instaphobe", etc.

Great show all around. Mackie was such a great look into the African-American experience and its relationship to American iconography. Wyatt Russel played a fascinating and complicated character, one I disliked but wanted to be better. Sebastian Stan had some of the most emotional moments tearing me up. And Daniel Bruhl stole every scene he was in. I need an entire Zemo show please.

I've been a HUGE cap fan since the 90's and seeing Anthony Mackie's charater develop and grow to become Captain America is just amazing. To all those haters (idiots) who say Captain America shouldn't be black (and there's a few), you've missed the entire point of what and who captain America is. He deserves it, he earnt it, he is Captain America

Episode 6 of FTWS I believe is one of the most incredible episodes in the MCU universe. Especially at the end what he did for Isaiah, that scene got me all choked up 🥲
