Thank you so much for this video.l just bought my H2 2006 and my lower bumper light is on ,but no turn signal and wondering how to acess it.l also subscribed.
OK,,,, I'm a happy camper again,,,, did what you said and there they were, a little hard to get to but it worked, changed them both out and used bulb grease... Thank you again for your great video..,.
This is a very helpful video. But I have a question. What do you think it means if this light will light up when the lights are on (running lights, night lights) but it doesn’t light up brighter for the brakes when the brakes are engaged? I notice my passenger side one lights up for the brakes but the driver side does not. What should I do?
Just went out to change both lower bumper turn signal, but couldn't get to it there is plastic housing which I do not know how to take off to get to the bulb.... :( My day is ruined now,,,,, please help if you can.... Thank you...
Same issue I had. There are 2 sets of fuses, 1 in the engine compartment master fuse block and another in the drivers side panel on the end of the dash panel when you open the drivers door. Cost me $250.00 to have the dealer locate both.
No panels to remove, you just have to lay down and look up behind the bumper, a flashlight will help you see it better. I just did them on my friends 2007 yesterday. Then found this very helpful video today. You probably already got it done, but thought I would add my two cents just in case.
Steve best advice I can give if you need the plug off the harness itself is to find someone parting out an H2 and cut the plug end off the rear socket or the front turn signal socket and splice it into your rear harness. Otherwise you''ll have to buy a complete rear tail light wiring harness that isn't cheap. Hope this helps.
The H2 in the video is a 07. 06 is identical. The rear bumper area is wide open just lay under the truck head first and stick your arm up in there. You can't miss it.
