Hummer H3 Door Handle Remove Replace 

Derek ,thank you, Hiley GMC in Fort Worth, quoted me a price of $330.00 and said it would take 2 hrs, what LIARS!! I order it off ebay, watched YOUR video and put it on in less that 1 minute, folks are really being ripped off by these wicked car dealers!! Thanks again!!

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS VIDEO, FOLLOW EVERYTHING HE SAYS EXCEPT DO NOT REMOVE THE LITTLE SCREW AS IT MAY FALL KEEP YOUR SCREW IN PLACE AND JUST ALIGN YOUR NEW DOOR HANDLE, HAVE SOME ONE ASSIST YOU BY PLACING PRESSURE ON THE DOOR ENSURING IT WILL NOT MOVE AND RESULT IN YOU ACTUALLY DROPPING THE SCREW, ONCE THE NEW HANDLE IS PROPERLY ALIGNED SIMPLY SCREW IN PLACE TAKES ALL OF 2 MINS PER DOOR

Looks super easy, but the end cap I'm replacing doesn't have a mounting plate on the door like your vehicle. The prior owner apparently used some kind of bonding compound to secure the end cap to the door. Does the mounting plate come with the replacement part? I have a certified GM end cap coming in the mail, but not sure if I'm still missing a part to make this work. I have a 2008 Hummer H3 Alpha.

Put a little piece of masking tape inside your socket it will hold the bolt in place during removal and replacing

What would you do if the bolt just spins in the stock cap? I have one out of 5 that is like the threaded sitting is just spinning in the plastic.

Is it the same for rear door handles?
