Just so you know it makes it a lot easier to leave the tie rod connected to the knuckle when you're trying to break the nuts on the ball joints. Leave it for last. Good thinking on using the wrench as a spacer with the ball joint pickle fork :)
At 7:05 they talk about how they used the ball joint tool to press out the old ball joint. It would have been great if they would have shown how that was done though.
Pretty sure he meant, how did you get it out of the lower control arm... Your video goes from it in there, to it out in a split second at the 6 and a half minute mark
I just rewatched that video 10yrs later and realized I left that out. Whoops. Honestly I can’t remember but I likely pressed it out with rental tool or put the nut on it and hammered it out with the sledgehammer. I think it was the latter since I was replacing the ball joint.
