@rachelrachirox We like to focus on technique and not just the piece. So I like to say she is working on tone quality, shifted vibrato, bow finger techniques, etc...instead of this song or that song. Of course we use the pieces to work on many of these techniques, so they are important as well. Maya is in Book 5 on the second movement of the Vivaldi G minor. She is 6 years old.

@jab138 WOW! AMAZING! I'm like 13 almost and i just started like 4 months ago..... i could probably have her explan it to me LOL.... but i've been playin cello for 3 years and 2 months so i kinda just picked up the violin.....

wow ive been playing violin for 5 years and i still have trouble doing vibrato and this little girl is like what 6 and she s rlly good at it!!!! im so jelous!!!! T_T

@jab138 cool, well good luck to her, i did 1 and 2 and then moved away from Suzuki, i think it's a brilliant way to learn when you are young though, i started at 5.

Uh-oh! Her right arm's movement is slightly incorrect. Make sure she bends at the elbow while moving the bow!
