This lecture is about Hund's rule and electronic configuration of different elements using hund's rule.
Q: What is hund's rule?
Ans: Hund's rule is defined as : every orbital in a subshell is singly filled with one electron before any orbital is doubly filled and all electrons in the single filled orbital have the same spin.
Hund's rule teaches us two important points:
1) Pairing of electrons in orbitals.
2) Electrons tend to remain unpaired as far as possible.
Also, I will teach you the common mistakes of the students they make while using Hund's rule.
Finally, I will teach you about the electronic configuration of Aluminium and Iron using Hund's Rule.
To learn more, watch this lecture till the end.
