While studying painting at the San Francisco Art Institute I wrote a research paper on his use of unusual media in his work and I uncovered other student art research into Hunterwassers’ media and mediums. He doesn’t use form for forms sake but envisions solutions from earth and for earth itself in dreams that become dreamscapes for a real imagined reality. Hunterwasser has so much more for us if we only follow his lead and begin to dream.
