Marg...seriously, how did I miss that?? I think this one wins for most obvious flaw that I completely overlooked! I must have been daydreaming about our salads! Thanks so much for joining me. It's always more fun when my Thelma is with me! Love you!
That last top hilarious 😂. We’re human, we see something we like and we’ll pick it up not taking a close look. I’ve done the same thing a few times myself. Thanks for sharing😎
Career or professional skirts have been moving for me too. Glad to see you over on Whatnot, I will be following you over there as well, Lori -- big fan of you but not the Celtics ;p Go Golden State :)
Happy to hear skirts are moving for you too! I'm excited to get the ball rolling with Whatnot. Seems like a a lot of fun and a new way to connect! Even though Curry is a cutie I hope we go all the way! Go Celtics!
I was laughing about it all day. I couldn't help myself and had to show my daughter. She was cracking up and said that is what I do to. Always bring home one major flawed item just about every thrift trip. Oh thanks so much for the good laugh. I am still giggling about it!
Torchy’s Tacos is an Austin Taco place. My son who’s coming home from UO this weekend has requested to go there immediately. Great haul!! I love that Baby Boden sweater. I wish I had a grand baby : )
I have that old navy blazer as well and I totally agree - it is soooo comfortable! Great haul! And our sons sound so similar regarding size and style - FYI old navy (coincidentally) has a very similar pant style - the slim taper built in flex OGC Chino. I think my son has a 28" waist and 6' so finding pants that fit (and look cool) is a PITA ;-)
Yes REI has a pre-owned section and it's not cheap .lol it's not even BST cheap it's ebay cheap and what I saw they are not super particular on Condition
Probably donated to them from thrift stores just how goodwill has the bins locations most of the stuff there never even made it into a actual goodwill store it’s all raw donations
@@DizzyyLizzyy hmm savers sells their stuff that does not sell over seas. Was at a smaller thrift that use to have really good prices and there was a truck out back that they were loading bags and bags of stuff so I asked and they said they donate items and get paid pennies by the pound that then goes over seas
I was on the front page of the Boston Herald when I was three months old in 1979. I was saved by a firefighter from Somerville 76. I lived at the Paul Revere Apartments on Broadway and my mom had me out the window and I was taken down a ladder.
Great video! I love to watch your hauls with footage from sourcing. So well done. What kind of detergent do you use to wash your items? I know many are super sensitive to fragrances and what not.
The J. Crew shirt was likely cut because it was a sample or somehow involved in the sampling process. Either someone cut a swatch of it because they were sourcing a similar fabric from their fabric vendor or the factory cut it before sending to J. Crew so they can say the item has $0 value and avoid paying customs fees. I work in garment production so I see this a lot. I don't know how many times I have taken some cute samples home only to realize they were mangled!
I just donated that exact Old Navy Blazer to Goodwill and now I have regrets! I wore it a couple of times, it was in excellent condition, what was I thinking!!!
Curious, has anyone ever figured out their sell through rate per 100 items listed? I have just over 500 items listed and I'm wondering how many of those items will actually sell in a years time? I've only be Recylaselling for about 4 months and I've sold 160 items so far. Just wondering if there's a normal expectation of this. How much of my stuff will end up getting donated after a few years?
Hi Lori! I have a question that I hope is ok to ask. I live in your area and want to go to the Hudson bins. I've only been one time and I have a 1 year old. the time I went was NOT a safe time to have a child there, I had no idea what to expect and just went home. So my question is have you found that there's slower days or times ? or is it always just chaos? 😅
They have an app called “passport”. It is marked by zones and it won’t allow you to “feed” the meter. That’s how I got my ticket there once before. It’s a bummer!
@@LorisBostonFound That is bizarre. There are parking apps in Tampa, too, but we can add more time. Maybe there's a parking garage in the neighborhood? Thank you for your interesting haul videos.
Lori, can’t believe you have a Tiffany ring, and a collection of Louis Vuitton and there you are digging through pit . You are American Exceptionalism, in its none political form. Plus you wear hats better than anyone!
Haha, thank you Virginia! I often say I live two lives...and I love them both!! I appreciate some luxury pieces and I love digging through tossed away treasures! Nothing seems to be off limits! 😂
C'mon, who among us hasn't brought home a cut off top! You're not a "real" reseller until you do that or a) buy something you know you can "fix", b) can't locate an item that sold, c) ship the wrong item or d) all of the above. It's a rite of passage.
Lori, Have you been hacked? There is a mass message replying to everyone who commented on this video to text you at "TELEGRAM" for a prize. Sounds suspicious. I will not be responding.
