Yesterday I met a new couple who moved into the area 8 months ago. We’re here in Mid-America’s southland. It’s quit, calm, clean and green, almost crime free. These folks seem happy and content… now. They lived in Philadelphia and had plenty to say about the city. Murder and mayhem sounded plentiful, to include children being shot off their porches. I left Detroit and it was about the same. There was more than ample senseless death. Philly is in the news almost daily and it does not appear to be getting any better. There’s room here if you are willing to make a change. Life is different. You can’t leave your memories behind but the rest of you might enjoy a change. People occasionally die here. They get old or they get sick. But you can sit on your porch without fear. We’re not perfect but we don’t expect you to be either. You might want to think about it. You’d be welcome if you care to make a change.
