Spoke to an old Garda friend in Dublin recently. He's still serving after 20 years and was telling me they detest both the Garda Commissioner and the Minister for Justice (completely inept).
You can't justify the way those thugs behaved. They set property on fire, and they hurled bricks at the Guards. The Gardai was doing their job. People have the right to protest peacefully and the immigration crisis needs to be resolved. but people dont have the right to cause chaos or vandalise property. If I may also add these thugs were the aggressors in the exchange with the gardai, so If I were them, I wouldnt bother requesting an apology.
If the Guards didn't arrest those thugs or do anything about that behind of behaviour, then they may as well be encouraging vandalism and violence by young thugs all across the country. Anyways, what the hell are these far right nuts apologising for? These scumbags, which may be assoicated with them vandalised property in every clash they've had with the gardai this week. These agitators were the aggressors. Anyways, most of the crimes that are being committed in the country presently are by these thugs - not immigrants! Understandable, but to be fair, the Palestinian issue does have a huge impact on us & the EU regardless. The EU will bend over backwards for Israel & the US to help push them out into every country, as Israel have tried to do with our country by sending them here. Showing some solidarity & to uphold international law does no harm. It's important on a geopolitical & international matter as it'll have ramifications for us over here too if that issue is not resolved. We all know our government do the willing of their masters in Brussels but the EU also do the bidding of other nations like Israel & Saudi. We definitely need better people in our government who have more patriotism at heart!

I am disturbed by the Irish government's push to accommodate asylum seekers, particularly young men from predominantly Islamic countries, in small towns and rural areas of the country. Have they not learned anything from mainland Europe? These individuals do not want to integrate into the Irish way of life and culture. I am disgusted by Sinn Fein, a party I use to vote for, and their support of these economic migrants. There are 15,000 Irish homeless people and if we are in no position to help them, we sure as hell are not able to accommodate people who have contributed nothing to our system.
One more thing, the people who are behind the push to dilute our society under the guise of multiculturalism, are the same people who wouldn't have these migrants in their own neighbhorhood. Hate to say it, Donald Trump is more an more appealing everyday.
We have the same in England, hotels packed with fighting age men from Islamic countries, no women or children, one of these hotels is five mins from my house

Although it might be a computer thing where people speak the comment in rather than typing it, (not sure whether that's possible) l think it might be an age thing. It was hammered into us at school in the 50s and 60s about things like there, their and they're, but l've noticed younger people now don't bother much about the right spelling of same sounding words. I'm slowly learning to ignore it. 😊
