I'm sure after 15 years he has learned the speed and technique required for tiger crane form. He was still in early training in this video

He also knows different versions of the traditional forms to which is kinda funny cause he taught his old students the traditional forms then he taught us these newer versions.

Very flimsy, bad stances, total lack of power, he’s rushing through every move, bad body dynamics, no concentration also bad breath control. Student must learn to condition and weaponized his body, study and practice breath control to develop Power.

The reason my forms are different is because my sifus teacher learned hung ga from different teachers and blended the forms together so I have a couple different lineages in my forms.

Part 3 Kung Fu is very hard to learn correctly, and Shoulin Southern Kung Fu is famous for it's strong stance, foot work, and fantastic hand techniques. You may have herd of the term southern fist northern kicks - Hung Ga is southern, strong powerful, soft and hard. Practice, practice, practice.....
@mperhaps

Again this method of self defense is only practiced solo. What does Hung Gar mean? Only works with oneself?
@SifuJessHungGa
@SifuJessHungGa Год назад
What do you mean? This is just a form nothing more nothing less. If you want to learn to use these techniques in fighting then you have to break down the form and train each technique in sparring etc… the form itself doesn’t make you a fighter

and i respect what you have to say. unfortunatley i cant train under someone who learned from lam sai wing. my sifu and the sifu's that came before him all changed their gung fu. my sifu told me he changed his cause the way he taught his senior students wouldnt work as good.and as far as im conserned its true. example my sifu taught this guy in my class for about 20 yrs. he was a great fighter, good at forms but when us new guys came around my teacher started teaching

Have to say I agree with Yipsforfun, there isn't only things missing, but even parts look like they are mistaken: Starting: the opening to horsestance, while starting the 3 block. The 3 block usually get do in a hourglass stance and then move to horsestance. Feels like the essence of build up is missed in this form, but perhaps it is deliberate.

Schools in the same lineage will even do things a little differently. Its the WHY thats important and there's no way to tell unless we sit down with his Sifu. It'd be strange if all forms were the same...thats martial mimicking not martial art.

I watched your form over and over again; you perform your form as if you just learned it. I see many problems with your form. However my main issue with your form is emotional content, strength, precision, and the spirit of the two animals your performing. I can see in your body movements your thinking to much about your moves looks like you recently learned the form and you have not figured out many details. You need to practice this form at least one thousand times and examine each move.
@sschu1462

It's just a demo relax my friend. Stay in your lane and unless he is paying for corrections no need to act better than him. Sounds like you have a lot of opinions that can be applied to your own practice... if you are still practicing after 7 years.

@ the black boy who cares my form is different. It was changed to fit the environment that it was taught in. My sifu is rommie revell and his sifus were Carl albright and Anthony lau from nyc. Why don't you come down to my school and fight then. I'll be glad to see who's Hung Ga is better. All these kungfu guys always talkin shit on eachother and most of us can't back it up. But bring it to my school and ill prove to anyone I can back it up!
@SifuJessHungGa
@SifuJessHungGa 13 лет назад
@blackboy you were the one loling at my form. I've had so many people trash my form but what they don't understand is that the techniques are still in the form and the patern doesn't matter. If you were truely not trashing my form then I appologize, I would rather make friends than enemies. If you still want to fight I understand. My school is in runnemede, nj on clementsbridge rd.

like i said i come from lam sai wing. everybody's style changes due to certain people mastering the system. then they add or change what makes sense or works for them. we must change with the times or the style will be obselete. just as lam sai wing did. he changed the style and also added alot to it. so must everyone else but only if it works! im not mad.i can see your not trying to be disrespectful. i just dont like being told about what i know or where i come from...cheng

@SifuJessHungGa
@SifuJessHungGa 13 лет назад
Supposedly tang fong never changed a thing yet both schools are completely different. We must add to the system to keep it alive if not we'd all fight like 18th century warriors. So you know I have a couple of mistakes in that form cause I was nervous as hell that day. Lol. But oh well, I never claimed to be a master I was just a junior red sash then(blackbelt) my Hung Ga has improved since then. Lol
@SifuJessHungGa
@SifuJessHungGa 14 лет назад
@netmasterx i suppose everyone has they're own opinion. also in my write up i said i have an elbow injury so i could not put too much power into it. when something hurts like that your only thinking about that so its hard to move cause your mind plays tricks on you. not an excuse just saying how it is. when i get more videos on here then you can compare the other forms. ive never said i was great and my kung fu has changed alot in the last couple years so well see. thank you for your advice.
@SifuJessHungGa
@SifuJessHungGa 15 лет назад
oh ok. i see where your comming from. i think alot was changed due to the times but also cause there was alot of bull shitters too. so in order to keep track of who learned from who, masters either removed, added or changed some movements.

Part 2 This is a famous Southern Shoulin form - you should always try to give it the respect and perfection it deserves. You need to show the hard and soft in the form, honestly your form was not good no matter what version. Practice your training form more; if you are true Hung practitioner it should be Gung Gi Fuk Fu Kuen - you need to build up your breathing and energy.
@Yipsforfun

I'm not here to judge, but I do find it interesting how this seems like a watered down version of Grandmaster Choi Chi Ling's Hung Ga 10 section Tiger Crane form. I see massive sections missing from the sequence, and things like uppercuts and essential hip movements were eliminated and replaced with... pointless hand circles? I don't know, I just don't see this as developing half as many attributes of worth as the grandmaster system does... But I'm obviously bound to tradition.
