@@Sir_Gom_bOach The ESC 2011 competitive field was very open, so the points were more evenly dispersed, whereas in 2015 the top 9 (especially the top 3) left all the other finalists hopeless, sucking 80% of the total points.

I started voting in Eurovision around 2008, and I've never voted for a country as many times as I have for Hungary. From 2015 to 2017, they had my favorite song three years in a row even. Being forced to pick just one of their songs, I agree with Joy. "Origo" it is.
I personally thought that their 2007 entry was absolutely stellar! A beautiful, laidback, jazz ballad that was a breath of fresh air in ESC 2007. So overlooked and underappreciated!
Magdi even wrote this song herself! She sang it on the audition of the talent show where she got national attention first. She's still one of our most talented singers these days and keeps releasing good songs, of different styles though, it always hits :)
"Forogj, világ!" is my favourite. I was obsessed with Nox for years, it was the first time I went looking for other music from a Eurovision performer. I also liked ”Kedvesem" very much. And I would love to go to a Joci Pápai concert.
Finally! That feeling when your absolute favourite Eurovision country of the 10's (my 8th in 2012, 2nd in 2014, 2nd in 2016, 2nd in 2017, 4th in 2018, other places are not lower than 26th) quits the competition because... their elders don't like spending too much money on the competition and think that Eurovision is too gay...😡🤬 🤦I just hope that their government will change as soon as it possible. It's impossible to choose from all these perfect different genres and ideas... perfect lyrics from Freddie, beautiful ethnic vibes, rap and great anti-racist and anti-nationalist message, gorgeous metal song from AWS also with a great story behind... OK, AWS. By the way, it's 100% serious song.
Before 2012 it was very chaotic how they choosed the contestant, it varied year after year. My favourites from this era : 1994. Kinek mondjam el a vétkeimet - Bayer Friderika 2007. Unsubstantial Blues - Rúzsa Magdi From 2012 there is a show called A DAl, they choose 30 songs from hundreds of applicants. With a combination of jury and public voting, in the final there are 8 songs. Then the jury choose the 4 best songs (in their oppinion😁) and the public votes about that four songs; the winner goes to the Eurovision, or went till 2019. 😒 My favourites from this era : 2013. In 2009 Tompos Kátya - Magányos Csónak(Lonely boat) should have represented us and I'm still angry that she refused it at the end because of her acting career or something..It was another ballad tho and I don't think it could have win but it was a beautiful song and much better than what we ended up with.
I miss Hungary in the competition - they were doing such quality stuff, hopefully if they get rid of their crazy-ass government cooler heads will prevail and they'll be back. I agree Katie Wolf was robbed at 22nd, but I have to give my vote to Origo for being the most interesting and stoutly Hungarian entry. As much as you say they were bad in the beginning, Frederika Bayer from 1994 actually gets my 3rd place the song and her voice is so beautiful, while Kevdesem would be 4th.
