They spend all this time planning this and tons of money on a near perfect bear suit, and then the guy just stands there like idiot instead of going on all fours and actually acting like a bear. SMH

well, i think that it also helps that is the city with more restrictie gun laws in the U.S.A., so, you know, it would be less dangerous for pranks like the zombie prank

Somewhat less simplified: sometimes it's greed based, and other times it's a genuine effort to create a sustainable food source for a massive and growing population. Sometimes it's both. It's a complex matter.

If the builders of this bear did, in fact, build a bipedal robot like this video implies, I'd like to see footage that properly demonstrates its capabilities. The lack of scenes showing the entire bear in motion and the bear walking on its own two artificial legs leads me to the conclusion that this video is a fabrication designed to decieve ignorant viewers into believing that the implications of this video are real, and that the bears true capabilities are not falsely represented.

In New York City, the person in the bear costume runs a big risk of being shot. I spent a week in a hotel located close to Central Park. I would fall asleep listening to gun shots.
Ooh! Those shorts are how I fell in love with Paddington. Can hardly wait to see the new movie at the end of the year. The actors' and directors' credentials look good (plus, the new Doctor, Peter Capaldi, is playing Mr. Curry--which should be all right as long as he doesn't go full Malcolm Tucker on Paddington).
