Thank you so much for this demo. Someone offered me a lumen in a trade, and this video is much better at showing the possibilities than the last demo I watched.
Hey Eric, great to see you again brother!!! That looks like a really cool pedal, it seems you have knack for finding some pretty unique stuff out there. Great demo, I really liked the insert showing where you set the knobs, very cool!!! Keep up the great work!!!
I loved the first low gain Hungry Robot pedal so much, I was willing to kill for one (as a matter of speech). Then I found out there was also a low gain/high gain version of it, so two pedals in one. Both great. I couldn't believe that these pedals were out of production, because it was and still is the best sounding gain pedal to my ears ever and it should have been just as popular as (for instance) the Greer Amps Lightspeed. I couldn't find one, I was heartbroken, so I wrote the man behind all this wonderful stuff. He wrote back to me and told me that he could build one for me, but he might have to put it in a different enclosure and I had to be patient, because of the fact that it would be a one off, so it might take a week or two (!!!). 😂 I was amazed! That was the coolest thing ever. I could have had the best gain pedal ever as a one off hand made custom ordered thing and I'm sure it'd never leave my board. Unfortunately things went wrong for me and I knew I just couldn't afford it. He never mentioned money btw. However, he did mention the fact that he was working on a new gain pedal to come out in 2020. And this is it! I'm thrilled to see and hear it. And he did it again! This is a glorious sounding pedal. This man is the best! The circuit is unique, as was the circuit of his old Hungry Robot LG/HG. One problem though. For now there are two gain pedals that I need to have. Both made by Hungry Robot.
Mario Driessen I used to have the HG+LG but I had to sell it unfortunately. That pedal is SO GOOD! I’m really glad you dig the video and The Lumen! Thanks for watching!
They're a super useful feature! If you haven't yet, I'd totally suggest checking out the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Signal Blender. The Signal Blender can give any pedal a clean blend!
