On 22nd, 2022, Scoville was opened.
An ambitious hungtik was falling in love in 1.12 at the time, despite HPK still being a thing.
He had an idea - to imitate the style of waza 11 last stage, but instead of 1, he wanted to use 3 of them.
He got his way to work, but during the process of designing the third cube, he quickly realized this being a solo project is not possible without scraping the 3rd cube.
Ultimately, he decided to scrap the 3rd cube, but designing the 2 cubes took merely 2 days.
He struggled a lot with parkour building. He wanted to make a map that is yoloable without coords, but at the same time fun to play.
He took a big gamble by buffing many of the known mechanics/jump style, but adding bit of spice to it, while not overly being crazy.
Ultimately, he still ran out of idea, and asked alpha and vince to help 2 checkpoints each.
The parkour took 2 months of building...
Fast forward to today, I can still say this:
This is by far the best parkour map I have build, and will probably do
I am super glad how to turned out with a leap into a gimmcky map, and finding a comfortable parkour building style for me
It is quite shameful to think about that my parkour building quality has dropped significantly, compared to this
Maybe, just maybe, I should make back more simple gimmcks...
