hay...wow....what a great video....honestly this is one of my all time favorite moto videos...great work!!!! Subscriber now!! woooo hooo....Thank you so very much!!
Eagerly anticipated, and any expectations far exceeded! I’d say your finest film yet, a great ride with clearly splendid company all round. Loved the write ups on Adventure Spec that I read yesterday, and to find this in my feed tonight, well, what a treat. I haven’t made a TRF meeting yet, but I did get a CRF 250 Rally, which I’m getting used to and thoroughly enjoying. Not an out and out enduro but for me a suitable buy at this early stage. Hope to see you at a meet soon. Thanks again for this brilliant video, Greg. All the best Peter
Great vid, as all of your content is. Myself and 3 fellow TET'ers did a section of the north Spain TET earlier this year. You might find that slightly wilder and you can just about squeeze it in over a week. Highly recommended it, awesome scenery.
Your videos are very well-thought out and I expected you have a big audience and I seriously could not believe you only have 994 subscribers and Ill say I am proud to be #994th out of the first 1000.Keep making these videos you are very talented and I really love your content.Cheers, mate!
Greg, I love all your videos. You have a real talent for this sort of thing, probably because your enthusiasm shines through. You and one or two others have made me get off my arse and do an off road motorcycle course ( completed last weekend, so I've made a start, at least ) I had a great time. I've, also, bought an RE Himalayan ( maybe not a proper off road bike, but I hope it will handle the trails well enough ) I plan to join the TRF when I've got the bike properly kitted out with engine guards and bark busters etc. Looking forward to you putting up some more stuff. No pressure. Hurry up, this is the 3rd time I've watched this particular video.
Ha! I really like the Himalayan. Great choice. Currently baby and house build are slowing me down somewhat but I'll be back shooting and riding soon as I can! :-)
Wow. What a spectacular video and story. Belgium, Netherlands and UK will be my first TET adventures and this video really confirmed that TET is just a step from us (I live in Brussels). I just need to find cool partners like your gang (I'm buying the bike in Jan or Fev'19). Cheers
Hi Greg. Loved your story👍 For wild camping come to Sweden next time. You can literally camp anywhere you like for one night as long as you are not disturbing anybody living on houses close to your chosen campsite. Not many houses along the TeT here I promise you. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyed that! Wonderful vid, was clear to see you all thoroughly enjoyed yourselves. Hopefully I'll be able to ride the NL/BE parts of the Trans Euro Trail myself, soon/eventally!
Great video :-) seemed like the best part was UK. Not on the Trail, but you'll have to go wild camp up in Scotland. One day I'll have a go, looks loads of fun
Nice video, Greg, enjoyed it. Great doco of your trip and I enjoyed the gear review on the AS video as well. Hope you keep up the good work, and keep seeking out those wild spaces. If you can't find it there, come here to Alaska, it's all around us! ATB
adventure = sleeping in a bivvy bag in a field with poo 🤣 oh, and riding for miles on ya bikes with ya mates 👍 loving these videos, only recently discovered the channel and the content is great 😉
I dont know what to say! This is by far one of the best moto films i have ever seen on youtube... What an amazing adventure and great footage. And damn you guys made me laugh a couple of times there. Cheers from Norway!
i did not expect a video of this quality! great work!! going to do TET end of may 2020... but not sure what part.. i have one week of time, and i start from belgium...
Hello Greg, I really enjoyed this video and have now subscribed to your channel. If you get the chance to do some adventure riding in Australia don't pass it up, you will get plenty of "wild camping" here.......
Reading in your post ride review you would have left trainers behind. Have you tried using those shower cap style overshoes (available free at my local swimming pool) over trainers to keep the wet grass at bay and allow your boots to dry?
you're cordially invited to camp on my property or even to stay in my country house if i'm over there (Guriezo - Cantabria) when you come to Spain. It'll be my pleasure while i can´t ride!
Great vid as always but the Route looked very boring! Still, when you’re on bikes with mates... The trails near me in SW Pyrenees are more on the wild side
Guys, what a good fun video. Thanks. I’m planning a trip through Spain and France next year via the TET. Any objections i fI ask how much green lane / off road experience you had before you set off? Thanks again.
Noel and I have been riding since childhood, on and off, but more frequently for the last 15 years. Greg still rides like it's his first time out. I wouldn't let lack of experience put you off the TET it's designed to be mostly non-technical, so nothing too challenging.
Hi Emma - here's some links for you. Firstly, you might be interested in the info on my website - gregvillalobos.co.uk/ Then, this link has the full breakdown of all the gear I used on this TET trip - adventure-spec.com/tracks/post-tet-shakedown/ If you are after anything more specific drop me an email at greg@gregvillalobos.co.uk 😁
Some of the guys had dehydrated camping food. But to be honest for this trip we mostly ate at cafes and restaurants in the towns and villages that we travelled through. No need to carry lots of food as you can always get it on the road.
