The idea of a creepy big foot running around sounds hilarious to me 😅

Except for the fact that in this, the strange entity wants the characters dead. It may not be a Bigfoot but it might… 🩸 🦶 😜

Get Tim Cooper on the phone. He is needed once again. Getting lost in the woods is terrifying. I love nature but when you see trees everywhere you look and especially when it gets dark. So freaky.

I’ll tell Tim he needs his van, some yogurt, and bananas. 😂

I think this may be my favorite Darcy Coates book that I’ve read. At least so far, her writing is really addictive to read.☺️📚

SPOILER ALERT Just finished the book today and even though there’s some things I didn’t love I immediately bought two more Darcy Coates books. This comment might seem like I dislike the book but it’s just because I’m only talking about the things I didn’t like when there’s so much about it that I loved. I wasn’t a huge fan of the conclusion. It seemed the decker twist was a decision made when the book was almost finished. We get nothing foreshadowing Deckers obsession with watching people die and it was explained in a paragraph with no further elaboration on why. He basically just goes “Yeah I did it and you can’t prove it” and it makes it seem less significant knowing Deckers personality. Also the fact Eileen just pops back up and ends up surviving is also something that makes me think it was a last minute decision. Eileen had just been sitting there the whole time after dealing with decker once when the whole story was supposed to be finding out what happened to her. Please correct me if I’m wrong on any of this and I truly loved the book but I’m just letting out some confusion lol excited to read more from her.

I was kinda thrown off track with the decker thing a bit, I really thought it was a weird creature of the woods and not a human. But then again humans are the scariest monsters. I do agree that I don’t think there was much foreshadowing that decker was the guy, but it has been a while since I read this one. I was also very surprised that Eileen popped back up at the end and managed to survive. It’s fine that she did, I don’t know if it helped or hindered the story. I did love this one, I love creepy stories in the forest/woods. Coates writes addictive stories, I’d honestly have to reread this one to get a better grasp on my memories of it though. ☺️📚

@@SynsBookNook Yeah it’s definitely a great book and I’d recommend it. It would’ve been great though to know how and why decker became a killer other than he just wanted to. Like imagine if Delago found out by searching deckers files or if she found a room decker was hiding evidence in. It would’ve helped the story a lot because what we ended up getting was her randomly showing up to his house and saying I know it’s you without any information on how she found out besides her saying she picked up on couple clues. There could have been a way cooler way to expose decker as the killer lol once again I absolutely loved the book it just didn’t make sense in some places. Great books create great conversation and we never know if there will be a sequel answering these questions.
