Follow my Insta: @arunennumnaan for regular updates / arunennumnaan Hunter 350 vs Ronin 225 Comparison in Detail | Shocking Score ! In this video we compare TVS Ronin 225 and hunter 350 from Royal Enfield #hunter350 #ronin
I had to wait for 9 months to get my BS VI Himalayan delivered. It didn't stop with that; these are the list of items that I've changed under warranty ( fuel pump, ignition key set, headlamp assembly, relays); that are not under warranty ( clutch assembly set for which I had to pay 8.5k) note that I have ridden only 7k kms when they informed me that I had to change clutch assembly to fix sluggish pickup issues and without any hesitation they told me that I am riding my bike in a way that is not to be ridden LOL. I am into bike riding for the past 7 years :) Himalayan is really one of the best choice of its kind but what makes it a bitter experience to own is its after sales service( most service centers lack skilled technicians to diagnose and rectify the issues), poor fit and finish ( quality of material is good but fit and finish is bad), for every now and then you had to visit service centers to TRY SOLVING THE ISSUES arising but everything goes in vain most of the time. Very few RE service centers are available which are living up to professional servicing. One of which is Sri Venkateswara Bike zone, Palikaranai.
To me.. they are the worst. I serviced both our Himalayans there. The same showroom, forgot change Engine Oil once, another time they did not top up to optimum, when asked to top up, they said they won't .. stupid people they are.
Using a TVS Ronin 225 with Dual ABS bike for 6 months now. The best decision I ever made. I used to hate traffic but now I like to ride my bike in traffic. Ronin gives better smoothness, tackling with Ronin you will love to do that over and over again. The only issue faced was gear shifting was hard after riding it for 2 months and the issue also got resolved in my first service itself. Riding above 90 km is a little tough have to be patient during the transition from 90 km to 100km. The high speed achieved on my bike was 123 km. The brakes are excellent and their suspension also. After-sales service wise good. You may have to worry about a few accessories available like foot footresters. Most of you will get a service bill of around 1500 rupees. Seat comfort is something you need to check. Strangers asking about my bike in traffic or different public places give a different high. If you like to ride your bike in city areas and the speed limit ranges to 110 km it will be the best choice. About mileage, I'm getting around 37-40/litre. My people criticized the TVS engine and performance but after riding it that totally changed their mindset TVS engineers did some magic for this Ronin.
My vote for ronin at 1.5 lack ku disc brakes Asist slipper clutch More mileage Alloy wheels with tubeless tyres More ground clearance All led lights comes stock
Re hunter 350cc and it has a big brand value , appudi irundhum oru 225cc bike Ronin kuda ellarum compare pannuranga la Anga ye tvs win pannitanga nu nenaikuran .
Boss.. Because of Price, TVS is not compared to classic or Meteor.. So RE mindspace win pannitanga.new market.. TVS upscale vs RE downscale, so worthy for both
I have a Ronin, initially I had a hesitation of not buying Hunter. But then every bike has its Character, I understood Ronin well, It goes very well with the checklist i wanted. Acceptable that exhaust could have been quite extra beater. This can be both city & cruiser material cause I have drive CBE - Chennai and got none pain in my body ! Final note to Ronin's 5th Gear on 85kmph... Love this range of driving in Ronin
Hi bro, test drove the Ronin today, just comparing it with my Xpulse. 1. Suspension setup is not as soft as xpulse but can be adjusted from its 7 step. 2. Turning radius is limited and one has to take long u turn. Its similar to Dominar's turning radius. 3. No Vibrations felt in Ronin. Much better than xpulse in terms of refinement. 4. In xpulse the gear indicator turns off once we hold the clutch, in Ronin the gear indicator works with precision and never goes off. Rider can check the current gear position any time. Ronin also has short gear ratios. 5. Fantastic rider triangle. Unlike mt15/D250/husqy twin's rear set footpegs, Ronin has a much needed Human ergonomics. 6. Base variant on road starts at 1.8 lacs Chennai, including rto, insurance and all fittings like crash guard, mirrors etc. 7. Still tvs could have added 6 speed gear box, heal shifter, slightly larger mirrors and removable side footrest for pillion. Must add accessories, speedometer scratch guard, headlight guard, taller wind shield, rear tyre hugger and tank pouch.
4 better a, 10 / 10 better a,
@@jagadeesh8751 lions are in forest not in our home, so think b4 buying RE bikes, their service centres are also like a forest we are blind folded there. So we can keep a dog & maintain it easily in our home. If you like to live in forest(RE Service centers), you can make agreement with them to rest your RE bikes there every end of day to fix one problem, So lion will spend most of the time in forest, not in your house.
I test drived two vehicles.... Ronin is best in pick up, gear shifting and we wont feel the weight of the bike while we drive and also it is full steel body...but hunter pick up is Little slow, gear shifting is not smooth as same like other RE brand and also other than tank everything is fibre, also u can feel the weight of the vehicle while u drive in 60s........ As per price Hunter is best for 350cc.. but Ronin doesn't compromise in steel so it price hiked....it's my opinion
I'll go for Ronin yenaku thevaiyana anaithum Ronin la iruku. pick up ah vachi mattum onnum panna mudiyathu . Safety features mileage and ect Ronin best . Neenga sonnamathri magic venum na hunter polam but practical advantage and features experience venum na Ronin better.
Test driven both and booked Ronin Hunter - better looks, RE brand value. Ronin - best intial torque, tractable, better clutch , better brakes, better suspension, better exhaust note, better headlight . If you drive mostly in cities its Ronin for you. If you are a fan of Royal Enfield better to buy classic or meteor in J series.
Anna I'm having Himalayan I found a free hose near my left footrest...antha hose engha erinthu varuthunea thrla and ethulaiyumea connect aaghala...pls guide me
Enakku ronin. We are TVS family. Nambi vangalam. Service spare parts availability nu entha problems um irukathu. Resale value irukathu but adhu yarukku Venum Strong kadaisi varaikum ozhaikkum. TVS champ, TVS XL,ippo Radeon appavodathu 2021. EnnodathuAPACHE RTR 180 2019.
You are right about the height issues in Ronin. I've been riding the bike for more than 4 months. Initially there was a lot of heating issue. I could feel the heat on my legs while riding it for more than 15 mins. After riding it for more than 4000 kms, I no longer have heating issues. I can clearly say that after doing a long ride of 700 kms within a day. I cruised it from 80 to 90 kms.
Arun annaa😓 I am going to book Himalayan 411 But 2023 mid la 450 Himalayan vara podhu nu sonninga.......... I am confused ......wait pannalama OR 411 ye book pannalama nu ... Konja please sollungalan😓😓
Sometimes all that middle-class wants is value for money. To play safe, I would choose Ronin. RE has a huge fan base but 1000s of ways things could go sideways in getting a flawless piece. However, purpose decides what's best and so it is purely subjective. May be Ronin is a commuters economical choice.
If i am riding the bike for my daily office usage... Up and down 50 kms.. it includes traffic and freeways... Very occasional long rides... Which is best for me? Main thing i dont want to get tired after the ride...
I am waiting Ronin testing. I tried Hunter I felt over heat on my thighs area after 15km. I’m really confused which to choose because I want to buy after 20 years from Yamaha RX100.
Wow! Thats an extensive analysis. As a Ronin owner I did not have the chance to test the yet to be launched Hunter back then before deciding. Would it have changed? Possible. In addition to all the points in the video Ronin to me is mind over heart personally. Wanted a stress free, low maintenance, loaded bike. Ticket most boxes. I am expecting it to be a stress free commuter, will wait and see how it goes. But great video. Keep them coming.
Hi bro eankku oru hellp pannuga Na thiruvarur la irukkan yesterday tvs showroom ku ponan tvs ronin 225 bike vanga but innum varannu sollittanga i need TN50.. Brother.! Till yesterday i preferred to buy HONDA HYNESS but cant afford. So I decided to RONIN, my younger brother had RE and my cousin too. I'm not happy with RE due to listedp points. 1. After service 2.Sevice cost 3.Mileage Whats your point on my view.?
Bro chance kidacha MT15 and N160 comparison podunga. I am planning to get MT. Is it better to get second hand V1 over new V2 (my concern is performance drop like you said in your video). PS. - For the past year I have been using the MT15 V1(friend's) for my regular commute. OFF TOPIC - I only started watching your videos recently. The way you narrate everything and anything, bro you are really something else. I loved Julius' search 🤍. Because of you, I also want to go to Ladakh now.
I booked Ronin. my requirements are mostly driving city, occasional long drive, little bit extra mileage.. moreover Ronin has good instrument cluster with complete details.
Booked Ronin for only reason other than your comparison, I’m 5.4 and I don’t like front leaning riding position of Hunter which made palm pain as my upper body weight rest on it, it will cause back pain . Ronin is upright riding position for me , so I felt very comfortable and finally booked . 41m dia fork will not put me in shoulder pain as well , your thoughts please
Ronin default, because it’s economical than compare to Hunter. As a middle class man I prefer slight fun too should come with economic values. My vote to Ronin though I like hunter. That will be my dream bike always 🙂
Anna na bike edukanum adhu class avaum tank metal finished la irrukanum na and mileage and durability , shock absorber, better engine, breakes and mukkiyama budget friendly (1.75) seat height less than 800 endha bike na irrukum

Thanks so much Arun for ur usual indepth practical fun review.. I hv a unicorn.. Now my choice btw abv two wud be HUNTER.. Though after sales with Royal Enfield is a night mare, bcos of which I may consider Highness, though the price of Highness is high.. 😁
Hunter top speed is 125, Ronin 142 top speed. GTT, Slippers clutches, advanced instrument, seat comfort, mainly head light & led lights, 181 ground clearance advantages in Ronin...
Bro, why should we compare Ronin with Hunter? Ronin is a relaxed position bike and Hunter is an aggressive position bike. If I want an aggressive bike, there is no alternative to Duke 390 w.r.t price to advantage ratio.
Good comparison. I own a classic already. Booked Hunter now, waiting for the delivery. No other bikes gives me the feel that RE bikes gives me. Honda CB350 is super good except i didn't like the tall gearing , and couldn't flat foot in it even though it has the same seat height as Hunter (i'm 5'6). I felt more fun and comfortable while riding hunter.
Na ronin tha bro 1st time ronin review pakurapa disappointing aguna enna evar nerya minus sollurara nu enaku antha time la heart break aguna mathre ageduchu na next year 2 month la tha vanga bro maybe chance to fix some issues in next year model so that only reason for iam waiting to buy
For me HUNTER bro 🔥 I am gonna book HUNTER. On 1 St of sep. But confusion of what have to select variant 1. Dapper white,2. Rebel blue , 3. Dapper Ash. Kindly please tell the only difference between Dapper Vs Rebel is COLOUR ? Around 5k cost difference. Kindly suggest bro.🙏🙏

I did Test Drive Ronin... No problem with seating did it with pillion... Seating is the most i liked in it... I will buy one ronin Dual ABS or Kawasaki 175 ... @arun Please review kawasaki w175 and compare with Ronin 225 vs 175 ... better comparison...
I have a Apache 160 already... But to be true...it dose perform always... But dose not bahave the same always...I mean with the engine reliability/smoothness...... Sometimes engine feels so smooth n Powerful But sometimes it feels very tough and underpowered...it is not the same always.... I feel there is something fundamentally wrong with TVS engines ( who all agrees/facing this issues ?) (If so pls let me know how to resolve this!!!!) So I will choose RE Hunter!
Nice comparison, Ennadhan RE avlova pudikadhu nalum, Ronin kuda compare pannum bodhu RE hunter dhan pudichi iruku due to the compact design and new exhaust note...!
Bro my reborn classic under warranty Im asking service center to change the engine oil brand. If we used other brand engine oil other than liquid gun RE would not give engine warranty. Support team also said the same bro
RE known for bad aftersaless and fit finish, 😔 Still am leaning towards RE... Because of the legasy created by ancestors.. அது ஒரு பெரிய advantage to RE..
Epadiyum vandi vaanga porathu illa.. 😄😄😄 Naa 22 years ah splendor + tha otitu iruken.. Enna madhiri Middle class la value for money tha paapom.. suppose vandi vaanguren na ... after serivce tha mukkiyam.. and warranty... ithu rendu tha paapen 😃😃😃 so Ronin.. 💗💗💗..
hai .. Mr. Arun .. i need an comparisons between jawa 42 v2 and hunter 350 .. because i plan for buying one of the bike mentioned above .. please consider
Anna eniku test drive panaa 1st ronin 2nd Hunter , ronin la oru 5 -10 mins leaa mild traffic leaa i can feel the heat from engine but hunter ah line laa ninu test drive panaa anna na 8th person ah drive panaa in heavy traffic i can feel the same heat in hunter comparing Ronin and braking wonderful in hunter. And main ah pillion heat feel panaga in both bikes but ronin la it's slightly higher .
Recently I bought base magma red Ronin ,it’s stunning look in real than photo and I drove 1000 km to and fro highway after 1st service ,it’ awesome and stable in rain mode when cruising 100 km/ hr.Best bike for city and highway which I have awaited.Hunter might excel in highway based on rider but definitely not in city drive.
Fun aside. Oru classic/scrambler style la weightless ah oru bike, daily commute ku poitu vara maari kedaicha vangalame nu ellarukume irukum. Ronin's only minus is its price. Oru 10k kammiya irundha, it will be have been everyone's choice. Still apart from fun, it's a better bike than Hunter.
I m a RE hater because of it reliability & service issues... So much so, wn I bought a new bike last month I test drove all bikes from all brands except RE..... But I still think hunter just killed ronin for sure, especially with that pricing...
#arun ennu bro .my friend still consider ns 200 for above 1.6 lakh. It is still worth or not. Im also ns 200 fan but im confuse. Can u make video for that the ns 200 is still compititior and worth buying ?!! Please
