So basically, Hunter has friends now, Willow is confident and cute, and now everyone has a good day Hooray!!!! Thanks for watching, luv ya Byeeeeee -RvR stuff
Okay so basically because some people were asking Show: The Owl House 1. The next half of the season is not released on Disney+ yet 2. This episode is “Any sport in a Storm” Episode 13 of Season 2 3. You can watch it in short clips uploaded on RU-vid or maybe wait till it’s fully released on Disney+, and if all your options run out use DisneyNow 👍 hope it helps, enjooyyyy!!!!
I watched all of the new episodes (season 2b) on RU-vid, people upload them just make sure not to fall for someone saying "click the link in my bio to watch this episode" and there's a website I think that has all the episodes, if you see clips of the new episodes it'll probably have the name of the website in the top left corner
I love how he genuinely thinks waking up at 6am is considered "sleeping in" , and one day off a year is generous. The basic training sounds about right though, who doesn't remember being left on a mountain all alone? Classic.
@@jacobwrigglesworth7140 Considering my dad wakes up at 4, waking up at 6 a.m. would definitely be sleeping in for him (being a boss is not as fun as it sounds).
I like how hunter implies that thier "dreams" are: being overworked as hell. Haveing stupidly bad work realionship. Not being able to see you family. And haveing several mental breakdowns to the point you consider digging your own grave. (Poor Steve)
It probably doesn’t seem like a big deal to him cuz he doesn’t have family, and the closest thing he has to one is abusive so to him, not having to be around belos would probably be a dream
@@notspecificjustartistic7531 I don't think Hunter actually thinks belos os abusive. He loves him and wants to help him. And think that their relationship is normal and a loving one. Like some people that live in abusive relationships. The abuser gives a treat or another and that's more than enough to chain their victim.
i mean 6 am is considered sleeping late and he gets a single day off, and just basic training is life threatning and hard af, imagine the regular training he goes through, he has literally known nohing but the emperors coven, it would be good to see him actually talk to people not from the coven
finally, my friends dont get the true significance of steve, but you guys do. steve deserves all the shoulder pats, and when hes hurt, he deserves all the ice packs.
I think it’s more that he didn’t realize that he was sentencing the people to a bad thing. He’s been raised in the emperors coven, raised to believe it’s the ultimate goal of everyone and that working that way is normal. When people started telling him they really didn’t want to be in the coven he was baffled. He cannot understand why someone wouldn’t want that because it’s all he’s ever known. What he can understand is the love for the palisman. So he doesn’t necessarily understand how being forced to join the coven is bad but he does understand that losing your palisman is a bad experience to go through and it’s when the cracks in his upbringing are appearing and making him realize maybe it’s not the best life path. So it’s less about saving the palisman over the people and more about the palisman making him realize that his friends do actually need to be saved in the first place.
It's both funny and really sad that Hunter thinks being overworked, separated from your family, and backstabbing people is just a normal thing people do.
Yeah, but it recontextualizes why he was so calm when he found out Kikimora tried to kill him and swipe his bounty in Hunting Palisman. Like he said here, the Coven Heads stab each other in the back all the time, so it's probably an everyday part of their dynamic at the castle. It ALSO makes you realize that all those times Kikimora was talking about Hunter going out of his way to humiliate her probably weren't unfounded. He's cannonically shown to be a cunning, pragmatic opportunist. So it’s likely he did some equally heinous stuff if he ever felt his position was threatened, since that's just the culture he grew up in. Wouldn't be surprised if Lilith was the same way.
The kinda guy who gets along with your friends! But who definitely won't try recruiting them! A bad boy. A sad boy. A sad bad boy. A half bad, half sad, half boy. Why did that appear in my head.
The Wittebane brothers (Philip and the other guy) were clearly from America's New England region, as one can guess from their clothes and accents. Given that Luz's hometown of Gravesfield is in Connecticut, the sigil is probably carried over from the early days of the town's founding back in the 1600s.
Hunter is so fricking adorably innocent, he's like "Emperors coven will make ur life better :D" not knowing belos probably eats children instead of pizza LMAO
Bruh how did I not realize flapjack gave hunter the idea of naming himself Caleb. Which makes the theory of Philips brother being named Caleb more plausible.
When you only get 1 day a year to spend on personal stuff. I love the small detail of Hunter mentioning the one day off had already passed, and later Darius complains about hunter making him work on his one day off
Ngl I was hoping this episode would have Hunter see Luz and/or Amity and try to hide from them and then do the stuff with Willow, but their "WHAT?!" shaking all of Bonesburrow was good enough
I honestly relate to hunter sooo much. That was a painful reminder of when I didn't have the sense to just keep my mouth shut. He's such a mess I love him
"Classmate! Ignore the fact that we've never met; [proceeds to try to recruit them]" He's in the right path, that's how I got friends and it worked every time ☺
Weird theory. When Hunter was coming up with a fake name, why did the palisman say Caleb? It's a weirdly specific name and Hunter seemed a little confused by it. Could it be the name of Philip's brother since the palisman is oddly attached to Hunter?
Oh my god, he's such a dork, I need to adopt this child and make snacks of baby carrots, apple slices, peanut butter, and pretzels for the games. They can have Cparisun too but like two is the limit and they have to drink an entire water bottle before they have one.
@@snowbaby29 if the age gap is what you’re worried about, Willow isn’t 4 she’s (at least) 14 lol and you don’t know when hunter turned 16 so you saying it’s a 3 year gap is probably not right. In labrinth runners you see her having her birthday in her plant track uniform so I’m pretty sure she turned 15. Even when they have a two year difference it’s not that damn bad, she’s obviously more mature than hunter and I mean, you wouldn’t complain about Connie and Steven or other similar age gaps, would you?? This ship is not problematic so leave us alone and let us have fun 💀
This episode showed us there are more people will help Hunter after the final season it will end Hunter we'll have Darius as a father figure and mentor and Willow being a teammate and very close friend was a future girlfriend and future wife to Hunter and also it's kind of foreshadow flag check die that's why Dale's palisman obese new partner
Everyone gets a Hunter episode! Just like how everyone got a Zuko episode (though this time Mae Whitman's character isn't being shipped with the reforming sad-but-bad boi over the protagonist)
I think that it's best if they leave Hunter x Willow ambiguous, as cute as it it may be. We have only seven episodes left this season and three big ones for the next one. And not all of them will be about those two. Not to mention the character development (and therapy, tbh) Hunter still needs. It won't do them justice.
@@Lrd_Storm We actually have eight episodes left this season. And I agree that Willow and Hunter need relationship development, but I still think they have time to fit that in the show. Season 3 will have three longer episodes that are equal to six normal ones. So we have that plus the remaining eight episodes for this season. Lumity was able to have development and become canon with 8-10 episodes together, so it’s definitely possible for the same to happen to Willow and Hunter.
Tu vive numa rocha? Kkkkkk Shippavam ele com os dois gêmeos. Só n entendi pq, já que Edric já tá comprometido…Mas é, lembro que faziam bastante comparação dela e Hunter com Odalia e Alador (coitados)
After this episode, I kinda started shipping Hunter and Willow. I feel like their relationship will be more of a admiration kind tho. Hunter finally getting his first set of friends his age, admires the strength and socialability of Willow. And Willow would just help Hunter become his own person and not a pawn of Belos like he was raised to be. Tho with the show coming to an end very soon, Im guessing it will be an implied future (unless something drastic happens to either on of them before the show's finale). Let me know your thoughts xD. I know shipping these two might upset a lot of people who ship him with guy characters but my thoughts on Hunter is that he is Asexual but not Aromantic, and his relationship with Willow would be innocent and cute.
For my opinion, i wouldn’t hate the thought of shipping Willow x Hunter. But for the episode i didn’t really find anything that caught my eye for the ship. I did expect for some people to make it happen though, I can see that the ship has potential but until then i’m more for a platonic relationship between them :>
Only after watching this I realised that I rarely see representation of toxic work realationships, when, in fact, it is a pretty common thing in our life. When I was his age and a bit older I dreamed about overworking and ending up in serious strict company with insane rules as well, because it is usually portrayed as the only one option to earn a good amount of money, to become a succesfull person or to gain power you need to protect yourself. I know too many gen Zs who would have 100% kill to be in Emerior coven. And they are actually looking for work like that and see their realationships with their work as something normal or even inspiring, while it is, in fact, a defenition of abuse. (Not to mention the fact that even understanding that, I still will stop doing anything that I do in the middle of the night and start working, if my chef call me). And what amaze me, it's that you don't feel fullfeel untill you work like that. Like you don't feel you are earning what you have or move to slow in your career. Even now, when I hear that in some company people overwork almost every day, I think "nah, whatever, I am in". Hunter is just damaged gen Z who was raised on the ideas of career sucess.
✨ Theory time ✨ (but spoilers, read at your own risk) At 1:06, flapjack tweets and Hunter listens to him, using the name Caleb in response to Gus and Willow. From what we know of Hunter Lore, he’s a grimwalker, a clone of someone Belos/Philip knew. In Hollow Mind, we see that in the background, there are a bunch of pictures with two boys: one that looks like young Philip and one that looks like Hunter. If you’ve seen the Hollow Mind theories, or if you haven’t, basically it’s thought that the kid who looks like Hunter is Philip’s brother, Caleb. And there’s one or two specific memories that show Caleb and a robin that looks exactly like Flapjack. Now, think about this: Flapjack was one of the Palismans that were up for adoption, and had owners but something or other happened and now they’re with the bat queen and doing a Palisman adoption day. SO in conclusion, I believe that Caleb, Philips Brother, was the original owner of Flapjack, and Flapjack chose Hunter because he looked like Caleb. Which explains why Flapjack tells Hunter to use the name Caleb (even though we can’t understand him, it’s highly possible that was what Flapjack told Hunter).
One of his comments actually made me think. We know Terra can use brainwash to have people obey the Coven in a way that feels and seems natural for everyone. So, why do you think the Emperor doesn't use that more often ?
@@emilykokoszka2375 because people like Darius show even the loyal ones aren't 100% reliable. Not to mention, I think they're walking on somewhat thin ice since the whole petrification ceremony.
