Per the band’s vlog #26, in Hunter the Grim Reaper appears and delivers a fatal wound to the Queen at the end of this song. However, since the Queen has multiple personalities and is psychotic, it is easy to see that the Grim Reaper is simply a manifestation of either the evil side or of some other personality inside her, and that she commits suicide. Perhaps one personality believes that it is killing another one of the personalities. This song could be the Queen’s conscience reasserting itself, letting the evil side know that the war within will never end.
They have been sponsored by Orange amps for a loooong time. On tour Dany just uses the Pedal Baby head, but at the home studio both Ale & Dany use the Orange heads and cabs. They sell all older material themselves on their website. It sells out a lot, but they restock it all the time, so keep checking if what you want is sold out. Don´t know about Band-Maid but both Ale and Dany are endorsed by Orange amps they are Orange artists. That was the reason they both had their orange amps on stage during the MTV VMA´s. They have had orange amps in their studio since they where kids.
What you said in the first 2 minutes, is why I think this should have been Ale's song to sing. A third character. I know she was only 13 at the time but she has sung Hunter several times in concerts and been really good. Ale is the Grim Reaper, or should be!

It's so crazy to see how fun and silly and adorable they are in their vlogs, then they come out and blow up a venue, rocking out like completely different people. Yes, Ale was 13 at this concert. I was playing video games and crabbing to my Mom about having to take piano lessons when I was 13. LOL!
With the exception of 1 month (January) whatever the current year is that’s Dany’s age. Dany was born on January 30th, 2000. So it’s 2024 now, Dany is 24. Pau was born on February 5th, 2002 so after January 30th of each year (or 359 days) she is 2 years younger than Dany. Ale was born on December 13th , 2004. She is 5 years younger than Dany for 317 days of each year after January 30th…lol.

The CD comes and goes on their band web site linked store. They order short runs when the demand seems to reach a certain point, so just keep checking - it will pop up sooner or later. It's just a matter of timing.
If I understood correctly, the graphic in the background was created by Rudi's sister (manager). She is probably a graphic artist or designer. Pau controls it with the Mac during the concert

Unfortunate that the CD's are not available anymore. Hopefully with the success of KMF they will start pressing more CD's of their older Albums. At the time I bought my QOTMS CD is was sold out but there was an option on their Merch page to be notified when it was back in stock, which they did notify me and I immediately purchased. Within a couple days it was gone again. Currently the only CD's available are XXI Blood and Error. Wish you luck Lanae that they start making the other Albums available again. Loving the reactions to QOTMS btw.
Hunter is one of the two songs Ale will sometimes sing when Dany isn't feeling well or needs to rest her voice. The other is Red Hands Never Fade (she also used to do River's Soul from their 1st album, but that one hasn't been performed in years.) The girls will explain who's doing the hunting in the vlog. Along with what's actually happening in the last song.

I think Ale is 20 in December this year, if she is 13 in this video that would be around 2017. To be honest I don't really listen to the lyrics of songs, I enjoy the sound more than the words but I would guess the hunter may be death. I grew up in the 70's listening to the rock music of that time and I do think the sisters have a bit of that vintage rock sound🤘

I sure have enjoyed watching these one at a time with you. Was Dany beginning to lose her voice at this point of the show. You talk about putting your all into something. They were so invested in this project. Loving it 😍.
Yeah, you can see the grim reaper several times on the screen but its quick. This was 2018, just remember Dany was born in 2000 makes it easy to remember. -2 for Pau and -3 more for Ale.
*Hunter* *Hunter* introduces us to another (3rd?) character in the QOTMS rock novella... if you have followed the QOTMS album, we know about the Queen, her love interest, and her love interest's interests... this character Dany is portraying is a much stronger and foreboding entity than those we have seen so far... the driving primal predatory bass line that Ale plays to move the song along is certainly a crowd favorite... punctuate that bass line with Pau's drums and yeah... fear and foreboding with spurts of hurried panic... in newer renditions of this song, they did a bit of a change in this song from the original... toward the end, Pau is doing the low voice saying "I'm coming back; There's no escape" instead of using a backing track like they have in the past... she repeats this phrase several times, getting louder each time, until she ends the run with one of her known screams "THERE'S NO ESCAPE!!!"... Fun Fact: Pau has four screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , some in *Apologize* , one in *Z* , and this one in *Hunter* ... Fun Fact: Pau's home/practice drum setup has 14" and 16" floor toms... in concert she uses 16" and 18" floor toms... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
You don't have to do a video but you should check out their performance of this song from the Teatro Metropolitan concert . I love this Lunario performance but they were older and more polished.
The CD is almost impossible to find. Occasionally one shows up on eBay and they are rarely less than 80. There was one up for auction and the winning bid was around $140 …sooo good luck 😂

I don't know why people keep saying that the Grim Reaper is mad that the Queen is stepping on its toes. The Reaper escorts souls to the other side, it doesn't kill people.
@@RussInCanada I see your point, however taking a soul and threatening to take a soul are two different things. Perhaps Timberwolf762 has something in his interpretation that it is a manifestation of another personality that the Queen has developed as she contemplates suicide. Here the “reaper” is threatening to pull her under, he is just waiting for the right time.
