Gons hair is long is because he forced his body to age to where he would be at his peak potential. and as you age your hair grows. So that's all it really is. It's like going 20-30yrs without a haircut or maybe longer depending on what age he'd reach his peak.

That anime has one of the most interesting developments in anime history for me: In the time where the King becomes human in his actions, (like trying first talk with netero instead of fighting or to care about someone weaker than him) Gon turned inhumane. He was eaten by his anger and showed no mercy and turned into an incredible powerful character.

I personaly like fairy tail alot, but i think you would enjoy seven deadly sins more as well as your audiance seems to lean more away from fairy tail. Black clover is also good but i think seven deadly sins fits you more ^^ the third season of seven deadly sins comes in october as well so might be a nice series to start. attack on titan please ... not black clover... i have seen most of it ... it doesnt start to get good until episode 60....and since it was created by the creater of naruto i was hyped to start it. only the first six episodes good then it gets trash right after that.....only some episodes after episode 60 are good.. not reaction worthy at all.... attack on titan is better... every episode of every season something is happening ..always capturing your attention edit: apparently its not made by the creater of Naruto....but its still kinda ass and its still a naruto rip off...kinda
