What is crazy to me how Togashi plays this whole fight as a tragedy instead of a triumphant momemt. I like how turned the main character getting pushed passed their breaking point and show bad You'd head space is right now. It makes this episode tragically beautiful.
This mashup gathers some of the best and smartest HxH reactors. People with solid knowledge, who read and watch different stuff and understand many things about the world. Lot of other reactors I've seen reacting to HxH felt clueless, almost dumb and not getting so many subtle details in the show.
So many people forget how much kite emphasized to never believe a chimera ant is dead until the head is completely crushed, and just assume Gon is a psycho hitting her over and over out of rage alone. It didn’t feel like he really lost himself in the fight to me. He had the option to die or do what he did and kill the enemy by any means necessary. logically, taking the enemy out with you is better than just dying and gaining nothing
@@gabri3l92 most adult anime charas don't have facial hair. Also choosing a different VA wouldn't have this much impact. But when you don't cut your for decades, may be that's what you get.
An ordinary person's Nen gradually leaks out over time. There is an image that shows it well. (The image is on the HxH wiki on the Nen page.) The Nen has made a kind of filament, escaping toward the sky from the top of the head of the non-Nen user. Here, Gon's hair is similar to the aura leaking from an ordinary person's body. It shows that his power is temporary, and his aura/life energy leaks with every passing moment since the transformation.
@@InternetPolice007 I think a change in VA that would give him an adult voice would've added to the impact of what Gon had done. The more alien he would've seemed to even his best friend and the viewer, the better. Would've driven home the sad nature of the forced transformation he had undergone.
I love that Pitou looked scared the second Gon's aura changed. Even before the actual transformation and powerup, Pitou's animal instincts could tell that, whatever he was doing, Gon was a massive threat. Pitou's instincts are another level, even compared to the other Royal Guards. From the moment they felt Gon's aura, they knew Gon had the potential to be a threat to even Meruem. Also, I love that this isn't just Gon if he trained normally for the next 20 years. It's what Gon would be if, instead of helping fight the Ants now, he went and just trained, nonstop, until this point. It's Gon's worst future; a future where all he had to cling to was revenge.
The fact that Gon was taking his time killing Pitou and not ending her in instantly is just indicating that he wanted Poitou to suffer a slow and painful death
I don't care if many watching this episode that feel bad to pitou but NOT ME sorry sir... Many civilian that killed and nahhh for me it's satisfying the way gon giving him blow... The only thing I feel bad is how gon is messed up at the momments
People understand why pitou is the 3th strongest character after Meruem and netero in this episode ... She's the real ant warrior her power is without limit don't forget Pitou is born 2 month before this battle i can't imagine how powerful she can be after so many years training
