The kraken event is cool to see the first encounter but the sad truth is that it's too easy to beat even if you're solo and it's just tentacles calmly wading in the water.

Maybe the developers will adjust the Kraken AI's aggressiveness and lethality to the level of the players (newbie, high-level) and how many players there are on the ship (solo, duo, 4 man crew). That's how I would do it, at least.

that's only the first encounter you have with the kraken. the first time it won't attack you, so you can figure out how to kill it. so it basically acts like a tutorial. the second time it would actually attack your ship, spit that poisonous water on you, and wrap it's arms around your ship. then every time you defeat it it would get more aggresive, and would take more damage before retreating. if you manage to actually KILL the kraken, only then will you be rewarded with ingame items, and not just an achievement

Here is a fact. The Titanic did not sink from the ice burg. There was fire on broad but it was on the bottom where the workers would be. There is a picture of the ship but also you can see a burn mark on the side.
