Not all steak is unethically produced, just like how not all fishing is unethical. If you're a farmer who has like 5-7 cows, and you really only slaughter and butcher them when they're full-grown, that's ethical.

If anyone is wondering, the fish he's catching are called triple tails or bouy fish. When they find floating structure, they'll hang out under it and hunt the smaller fish around it. I used to commercial fish and our bouys would get a lot of seaweed hung up on them and these triple tails would hang out by them, we would just idle the boat up to the bouy and scoop them up with a big dip net, good eating fish too

@@picorrow it’s a good point but his hunting is the least of the fishing problem, whereas he may of caught 20 fish from the one day of fishing for the rest of his week. Some fishing boats are unregulated and fish illegally for hundreds of thousands of fish and dispose of over 50% of them. For the most part this is the most humane fishing will ever be. Watch “Seaspiracy” on Netflix, they do a good job explaining this.

Sorry but someone has to call you out on this. I generally love your videos and content, and I think you are a really cool and funny guy, but this one video left me totally upset and disappointed. This shit of purposefully trying to catch two fishes with one shot is pretty horrible to watch. It's unrespectful for the fish, and totally unethical since you have a very high chance of just injuring both of them (as it's even shown in your video!). No self respecting spearfisher would do this crap. Just shoot one fish at a time when you are confident that it won't escape, and stop this childish bullshit.

*disrespectful. And I’m sure this guy knows what he’s doing. As someone who works in the farming industry (crops and merino sheep), we know what we are doing and he most likely does too. (I understand that farming and casual spear fishing is different but from what I’ve seen in his other videos he is not wasteful or is interested in causing pain and suffering to the fish.)

Do you really need all that fish though??? It kinda just seems like you’re overfishing an area. Also it’s wrong to go for those two for one shots because of you just hit one and it gets away like on the video, then you just injured a fish for no reason. I support spear fishing and living off the ocean, but you should also think ab the fish populations. Many places suffer from issues with the fish populations because of overfishing

Sharks only get attracted if it’s Cows Blood, Sharks never eat humans and aren’t attracted by fish blood It’s mostly because sharks get confused, it thinks that a person in scuba diving wear looks like a seal or something I’m not an expert xd
