A long over due visit to Sherwood Forest on what turned out to be quite a busy day for the site led to a bit of a trek off the beaten path and some fantastic trees and a few nice shots too!
A good scouting trip too finding some rather nice spots for later in the year and definitely try and get a visit when it's foggy too as the silver birch here are just stunning!
