Hunting for New Summer Yarn! | 2024 Joann Fabric 

Protip from my Aunt: You can wash anything in a washing machine on the gentle setting with cold water. If you're extra worried you can throw it in a pillow case or delicates bag. I've never had to handwash anything I've made. Also, don't use fabric softener, it wears things down faster! Still gotta dry it flat though, lol.

Oooo that rave yarn though!! I'm seriously considering starting a blanket with that stuff because WOW the pink and green really bring me back to my scene days back in ye olden times! I used to have pink and black striped vans slip ons with slime green soles and i LOVED them LOL

I would love to see a bucket hat out of the t shirt yarn !!! I feel it would hold much better shape than the usual acrylic or cotton basics 🎃🎃

I ran to Joanns Saturday and got 8 of the scene queen. I deconstructed it and put it together like an ombré ish. Made a crop Cardi. I’m in LovE with it. Have fun with it

Hello 👋 friend! Thanks. 🙏🏻 for sharing the new items at Joann ! I’m making my trip to Joann either today or tomorrow! FYI - ( from someone who is ocd and likes to do laundry and take care of my clothes to make them last) 😂 you can wash pretty much anything in the wash , as long as you use the gentle cycle for the fibers/ fabrics that are more delicate and also using cold water when in doubt. Cotton and acrylics can always be washed in washer just be mindful with the shrinkage of certain cottons. Hope that helps, and hope you get more of that pretty yarn with no fear of the washing instructions, I personally don’t even look at them unless I’m unsure of a fiber I don’t use much or a blended fiber! I ordered 2 of the Scene Queen and 2 of the Electric Slime or whatever that was called. It got her quick and I love it. I was thinking a blanket , maybe a star granny type with both colors. But then I started thinking I might mix the green and black with some black and do that for a blanket. My grandson would love it. Decisions Decisions.

I just used the lava lamp color to make a bucket hat and the variegation is PERFECT

I saw a video by another YTuber who loves Yarn re: the BT Rave & Prism. Knew the yarn was going to be bright when it looked bright in the video but when you see it in person, it is a whole other level of bright above what the videos show, like you need sunglasses kinda bright. I didn't care for how it felt, so didn't get any of the Rave. Did however come home with a ton of the Prism, as that yarn is so soft! Thought of you when I saw the black/green combo. I love that color combo as well. May go back & try a cake of the rave, time will tell.
