@1:34:00 You could not paint individual parts on the car or the engine. Can't paint engine parts at all. On the car, you could put the parts you want one color on the car, paint them, remove them, then put all the parts you want to match the primary color on, paint the whole car again, and then put the parts on. As far as real world painting engines, you absolutely can paint an engine, and almost all parts in and on an engine. Just can't can't paint every part of every part. Such as, you only want to paint the exterior of the block, and it's absolutely critical that you don't get paint on the mating surfaces. Alternators can be painted, but you want to keep the paint out of the internals. You can use a paint product called "Glyptal" on the interior of the engine, but you need to make sure it's applied properly. It helps with oil returning to the pan, but if a piece breaks off, it'll be in the oil and it could cause damage by plugging things up. But basically, it's just a bit of common sense. Engines are hot, so use high temp paint. Don't paint anything that looks like paint might gum it up or plug a hole. About the only thing that I would never consider painting is the headers/exhaust manifold. They are just so hot, and it'll burn off any paint, even High Temp Header Paint. With headers, it's not a matter of if the paint will stick, only how long it will stick. And quite often, we're only talking weeks, usually just hours of regular use. I like to wrap them. Keeps the heat in, looks tough, and extremely durable.
Just a quick mention since I heard you talking about it in this video, mr. Fox; I was looking through the community hub discussions, and Fulisic said modders are already working on mods, and the workshop is already available for mods to get uploaded, but Fulisic also mentioned that due to the amount of chances from CMS18, its a bit more tricky for the modders so it will take a little while for the first mods to drop 😊
How do you sell cars you have restored? I LOVE car mechanic simulator 21. I always find myself late at night IRL saying "Just one more car, and I will go to bed". I thought they were ending the series after 2018.
Yeah that was kind of the plan, but it often takes more than 30k to complete redo a car between buying the junker and then all the parts it takes to rebuild it.
Theres glow plugs because you can get a semi truck out of the junk yard but I'm not sure what level you have to be to be able to get it I seen one in a video where someone was playing this game
The best way I found to make money is barn find cars. I play on ps4. I can buy a car and fix it just so it will run and make upwards of 5k I dont have the welder yet but I'm working on it. I'm level 14 I dont know much about how the game works but I have 4 cars I am working on right now. I had 70k to buy them. 2 are from the junk yard then one from a barn to get enough money if I dont profit off the other cars from the junkyard. I really enjoy the game. I play it alot. I'm rebuilding a engine right now and it's hard cuz I already did and it didn't save because I had to leave I even saved and quit the game then shut it off but it didn't save it so that part sucks
What about trying just engine blocks and heads and repairing them, in 2018 it was not too bad money, I mean I would not go hunting for them but when you are at the junk yard grab the blocks and heads
i think i made around 600 or 700 in profit doing that in one trip, but it really depends on your luck and how good you are with the minigame you *could* make money, but youre better off using those parts in jobs
I always grab gearboxes as well, and body parts, in barns and junk yard. The rest is not worth the trouble. But I do save repairable parts from cars I fix for clients and store tons of stuff in the warehouse, in case I might need it.
The salvege station think it like viatual melting pot where you can salvege parts you cant fix and not worth selling use them for salvege where you can get 1-3 parts to upgrade parts. Only use this station for red parts .
It's like this games pre settings are meant to troll and piss off the players who pay the developers rent. I still can't figure out the setting to not have the cursor jump across the screen after taking a bolt out, also can't figure out how to sell an item from my inventory and simply sell the next part next to it instead of the selected part being centered so I end up selling good parts. These are obvious settings and should be default, why would anyone not want to be in control of their cursor?
Thankfully they made turning off the complete dog crap dubstep easy, some songs are good but some sound like that guy that makes dubstep with his mouth
People need to do the custom car mods for the console systems to like ps4 5 and the new xbox not just the PC I know it can be done I don't no why no one does not all people play the cool games on PC me for instance I play all my games on the game consoles
