I bought myself a switch when I retired to keep my mind active. My granddaughter gave me animal crossing new horizons and I tried it and loved it. I then started to watch other people s videos to learn how to play it, and that is how I came across you and tofu. I loved to watch you both build and have learnt a lot from you both. You are so inventive and calming to watch. Please don’t stop.
Thank you so much ❤️ I’m glad your granddaughter found you something to love and hope it brings you closer 🤗 me and Tofu have both had long loves for the series and I don’t see either of us stopping any time soon. We are both very impatient for a new AC release 🤞 but intend to keep playing either way since it’s something we both enjoy 🤗
My first ever Animal Crossing was on the gamecube. I went to gamestop one day with Christmas money and saw both Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life and Animal Crossing and they both looked amazing. I can't remember which one I picked up first but I got the 2nd one a few months later with birthday money. I also got Wild World on the DS but couldn't get into it and I skipped City Folk. It wasn't until New Leaf when I started to love the series again.
I’ve never played the game cube game but I’ve watched other people play and it looks real hard honestly! Wild world was my first take on the game and I instantly loved it, but I have to agree! New leaf was a huge upgrade and I sunk several hundred hours into it 🙈
Bright Island names that sound cool to me: POP, Crayon or Vivid. Just sending ideas. I started the game back on the Gamecube. Me and my friend used to spend hours playing growing up.
Thanks for the suggestions! I really like Crayon and Vivid 👏 I had a GameCube but never knew the game existed 😅 also I wish I had someone to play with growing up! The older games had you really limited as a single player 🥲
Sorry it took so long to respond because I’ve been unwell but thanks for taking the time to comment and I’ve never played the game cube game before but it’s so expensive to buy now! 🙈 I wish I’d played it back then!
