Got my first deer in about 25 years on our new property in KY last month. Took a 6 point 125-150 lbs. We got our house and 5 acres Nov 14 the of last year and got my deer Nov 16th of this year's such an awesome feeling to get food off something that is yours. Awesome job lojo. From one veteran to another.

Congratulations! I know the feeling exactly. I got my first deer this year as well. I missed on 4 bucks last year and I missed on my first deer this year. It was not a big doe, but the meat so far is outstanding. I had some summer sausage, deer steaks, chops and roasts.

@Lojo, bro Im so happy for you, cant wait to see more catch clean cooks and Im loving all the deer hunting that some of the googans are doing. Cant wait to see more. Im disabled and I know I could never carry a deer out but trust me when i say im living life through all of you. So much so that im talking to my brothers about all of us getting our licenses and making it a yearly brotherly trip. Thank you for sharing all this with us. Tell neighbor Darryl he is awesome and maybe he can share a few stories with us about his own hunting or even just more game warden stories or his own experiences with other hunters. Cant wait to see whats next, im loving that you guys are switching things up from the 1v1v1 stuff. I like those too but sometimes you just need to change it up. Just a pointer on shooting accuracy. Never ever ever rest your hand on the barrel!! The barrel free floats and doesn't take much to make a huge difference in where the bullet goes. The gun has a stock for a reason its where your hands go lol. Love the content lojo!!

A good range finder and a nice L platform for the gun to rest while shooting would be ideal.

Last year i made two 350 yard shots with my 30-06. An 8 point buck and a doe. Its definitely tough to do

I got my first published land deer yesterday in Bankhead national forest he was a 150 lb 3 point not my biggest but I have hunted public land for years and this was my first deer on it

G’day Lojo all the way from down under Australia 🇦🇺 mate! Mate I’ve never commented on one of your videos before, or any other channels videos either!! But I just had to after watching you miss that nice Buck, while watching this video! And you showed a clip of you from last hunting session shooting over the Bucks back and him running off, and you almost crying 😭 And I hate seeing a fellow man cry 😭 if it can be avoided. So I want to give you a little tip! That I seen not only you doing, but a lot of people who are shooting out of blinds in videos on RU-vid. Mate where you went wrong, or what you did wrong and would of most definitely contributed to you shooting high. Was and if you watch it back on the video, what you and a lot of other people do. Is the following : when you were lining up the Buck for the shot, and you were using the blind as a rest. You were only resting your barrel on the blind!!!! And not the for end of your rifle stock. Which would of / and will put upward pressure on your barrel, drastically effecting your barrel harmonics and causing you to shoot high…!!! Anyway mate I really hope this helps I’m not sure if you will ever even read this. But anyway mate I just wanted to try and help. You should probably zero at 50 or 100because the lines on your scope are going to be 50 to 100 a line depending on the scope. That way when there 150 yards out you know how much to aim up.
