I do it differently: I sleep making sure I go past midnight say to 6 am, I hunt for 15 minutes which is one hour in game time. I repeat this again x 2 = 1 year. So I watch my herds and I repeat this for year 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on. I've killed 5/ 5 star roe deer. 4/5 star red deer. A 5 star wild boar. A 5 star wild duck all using this technique since I began May 26th. And you can hunt longer in between sleep times. I ambush hunt once I find the herd or herds. I usually scout and find 2 or 3 species using the area at different feeding, drinking, or resting times. Place my stands where I can see good then booming! It works for me.
