👍🤚excellent documentary my friends. It is heartbreaking to know humans are still killing birds every day for many reasons but none justify killing this precious bid. So happy you are trying to bring awareness to stop the killings. Thank you for sharing this. I truly hope you get donations to help fight to protect these beautiful birds. From Florida
It is too pathetic to see how the human being can become so abominable, how they can kill incredibly majestic creatures to turn them into useless crap ... It is very unfortunate so much ignorance and so much unjustified greed. Thank you so much guys for trying to remedy this behavior through the love and respect towards animal life and its environment.
Such a majestic creature. So shameful that some people would rather kill these species for a shiny piece of souvenir than see them soaring eternally in equally majestic rainforests. The conservationists deserve our support and gratitude for doing a noble job and preserving invaluable species for posterity.
Please keep up your good work don't let this magnificent creature go extinct. People should understand that we humans alone cannot live on this planet. We must learn to co-exist together "live and let live ".🙏👍
There might be a shortcut in the way of artificial nesting hollows, but the biggest threat - humans - remains. Many countries don't have the resources to devote toward such a project; and that is IF the species in question will accept artificial burrows. Education is likely the best solution.
tq for this inspiring video..im from sarawak and i really hope to see this majestic bird.i know it is quite impossible to see them here as sarawak are indanger of losing our great forest too.may one day i can constribute something to make them stay for another generations.
What a wonderful documentary, Thailand and Indonesian government should be ashamed of doing nothing to save this wonderful bird we human beings are a living selfish monster
The Native Tribe in my hometown know what time it is by hearing the sounds of this birds, they make a sound every hour, thats when the native knows what time it is. But then they are be hunted for their casque. The way to help is not buy the casques and cutting down old tall trees. If the buying stop the killing stop.
For anyone who dosen't know the "Rhinoceros Hornbill Bird" is now on the endangered list which is so sad because this creature looks very intregaing and I became horrified to know it became this way because of plantations of oil palm trees. And theirs alot of food we didn't know that has palm oil in it For Example : Tastykake products have Palm oil in them so if you are a person who likes Tastykake like me that didn't know about this information then you and I are unconsciously hurting the RHINOCEROS HORNELL BIRD! Please be aware of what your eating and what's inside the food your eating! And spread the word if you want to!
Every poacher that is caught...set an example with them. Tie them to a tree at the edge of the river where they can be seen by other poachers and leave them there with a message. If the poachers see enough skeletons, maybe they will get the message. That’s a start
Natural86 Seriously. It breaks my heart that we just destroy and consume without doing more to give back. Im so thankful for organizations like Cornell though because their efforts to protect wildlife make a difference
Amazing documentary, wish it was longer,if say a male hornbill perishes while his partner is sealed in the nest cavity, would she be able to break free and tend to the chicks on her own,?i know that one scenario is they starve, the female hornbills and her chicks, would it be possible for a female to raise the chicks own her own?
Great documentary! Is there any chance of dubbing it with Chinese narration & subtitle, directing this "open" video to president of China, to ban owning red ivory? In the hope of cutting the demand for them. Thank you.
I'm stupid yes I am for my shake my great animals, plants and beautiful birds are suffering.. but can do nothing for nature.. God you created this wonderful nature only thing I can do is pray you to preserve the beauty of nature..
They are easily saved. Just put all those shopkeepers that are selling this magestic bird's beak or feather into the jail. Then nobody dear to kill them anymore.
If the male is shot whilst the female is encased in the tree, will she starve to death or will she eventually come out once she realizes the male won’t return ? It’s very sad to think this would happen
I just watched the latest documentary about the bird same location and they having a hard time looking for the bird but sad to say there is still some people poaching the bird
Please make sure no more hunting, hunters must be punished ,n, buyer's are also be, if find any where in body's home in theirs show cases must brought them under law for punishment,or the peoples should be educated not spoil the forest gems given by God.
