Very cool content guys . Way to grind it out . This is also one of my all time favorite and hated hunts . I drew it like 4 years ago and it was AWESOME!!! I questioned my sanity for What I put my mind body and soul through on that hunt ... I be back again some day For redemption 😂😂😂😂😂 Loved it and well done !!!
Man, talk about a game of cat n mouse. I feel for ya, so close multiple times to come away empty handed. But what was epic besides the hunt was your attitude. You stayed positive and kept grinding. Just wasn't meant to be. This time. What an adventure!! Thanks for taking me along.
So close but so far haha! That was an absolute grinder of a hunt but I absolutely loved it! I just wish I had a few more days to keep trying haha because we were really starting to get them figured out. Thanks for watching.
Wow I’m amazed how the Billie’s are very light footed with tons of grip to fear no gravity they laugh at it to walk sheer cliffs it’s an eye opener I say drops my heart makes me dizzy too lol 😅
My buddy and I put in for this hunt last year, looks like a grinder man, tuff stalking, low percentage on bow opportunities, but! if it was easy everyone would be there. thx for sharing your adventure! great video!
I wasn't being successful on an Aoudad OTC hunt earlier this year and went over to Florida Mountains and hiked up in there scouting for if I ever got the tag. I figured out where they were at and it wasn't super easy finding them, it's amazing how many you saw during your hunt but super consistent once I found them just impossible to actually kill them in most those spots. EDIT: Saw this was from 2019, that'd make sense because after rolling around there in those insane cliffs I only saw about 50-60 Ibex total. Wish NMG&F would cancel the nanny season now and let these Ibex live instead of just wanting to eliminate exotics across the board.
You know….. the Ukraines use hand grenades and drones, just saying. Maybe put in for the drone tag. It’s mind blowing how they move up and around with such ease, grace and speed. Thanks for another epic video
They might be onto something there 😂😂 they are absolutely incredible animals and they blew our minds daily! Unfortunately the herd there is really suffering right now! We’re hoping they make a comeback 🤞🏼 Thanks for watching!
What year did this hunt take place? NM G&F is telling me that there are approximately 150 mature ibex on the Floridas currently. That includes mature nannies and billie. I've got a rifle tag for November. Plan on starting to scout after another hunt in October. I live about 45 minutes from the mountain in Las Cruces. Any help with shared info you think would be helpful would be greatly appreciated. Love your content!!!
Yes unfortunately it sounds like the herd is struggling way bad! This hunt was in 2019! Good luck on your hunt and thank you! Send us an email and I’d be happy to help anyway I can!
