HUNTING TRAILS EP5 I MAKING HISTORY WITH FX MAVERICK (2021) 

In this video myself (Gerhard Slabbert) and one of my close friends Matt Dubber share some hunting footage that we gathered on a tour through South Africa. In this segment you will see history be made with the Fx Maverick Sniper. We record the worlds first Dassie hunt with the Fx Maverick and in this video you will also see first ever second angle slow motion camera we used to capture some mind-blowing slow motion clips. Footage that has been captured was over several days during a pest control job we did. The farmers is in dying need for some help to protect crops that the Dassies (Rock Hyrax) is destroying because of over population. Myself and Matt step up to plate to help the farmers and we are glad that we could have brought some relieve.
Setup for this video:
Gerhard setup: FX Maverick Sniper edition with 700mm tube kit. Scope used was the Element Optics Helix FFP Apr2D Mrad version. Slugs used was the Javelin .217 (26grains) at a velocity of 970fps.
Matt setup: PTE (Precision Target Equipment) custom air rifle .22 calibre using 41 grain slug at 980 fps and Fx Impact Mk2 Matt Dubber edition.
